Guy 1: "Africa didn't even have a written language before colonization."
Guy 2: *Shows evidence that that is clearly untrue*
Guy 3: "Well, Africa only developed writing through contact with the Middle East."
Which makes me wonder...
Do these guys not know that if you live anywhere other than East Asia, your writing system probably also traces its roots to the Middle East?
Is it weird that I like this version more than the original? Maybe it's the inclusion of an actual guitar solo. But it's likely Aoyama Yoshino's vocal performance as Bocchi that really gets me. Something about it feels so raw and earnest, like we're tuning into the radio frequencies of her heart... or something.
I honestly kinda like brutalist architecture. It looks super fascinating. Like I can just stare at those huge blocks of concrete for hours on end . Especially love eco-brutalism. Big angular concrete monstrosities with pretty plants? Yes please.
In all my years of ridesharing, the three most standout drivers have been:
1. The guy who tried flirting with my cousins
2. The COVID denier
1. The former druggie turned counter-terror taskforce member
This might seem like your typical obscure emo song, but this one has strings!
What other real emo has strings? None. That's really all I have to say about it.
Also, the singer sounds a lot like Davey von Bohlen from The Promise Ring, who I've recommended before. Emo singers really like to converge on each other.
