Is it weird that I like this version more than the original? Maybe it's the inclusion of an actual guitar solo. But it's likely Aoyama Yoshino's vocal performance as Bocchi that really gets me. This might seem like your typical obscure emo song, but this one has strings!
What other real emo has strings? None. That's really all I have to say about it.
Also, the singer sounds a lot like Davey von Bohlen from The Promise Ring, who I've recommended before. Emo singers really like to converge on each other.
