Day 9: I dropped my mouse and managed to launch it into the unknown. I cannot find it in the hallway or the rooms near where I dropped it. It was only a $10 mouse but my inability to find it is making me question my intelligence (and eyesight).
I have discovered my favorite brand of melon popsicles also makes a coconut version. I am in heaven. Also it's a weird heaven because it tastes exactly like how those really good smelling coconut hand creams smell. I am conflicted.
Well that was a weird delivery experience. The guy put the food in front of the door he apparently reached from the neighbour's driveway instead of going around and up the steps. Then he didn't knock, just took a picture of my house numbers and drove away. Only realized my food was here because the app pinged to tell me my order was complete.
Day 4.5: Mistakes have been made. I forgot to get the hubby to install the AC before he left. I am physically incapable of setting it up on my own. I am now debating on seeking refuge in the basement but that would require me to sleep on top of boxes, laundry or the winter tires.
Day 4: I am eating leftovers from my lunch for my supper. Which is actually leftovers from yesterday's supper. I have realized I have forgotten how much to cook for just one person.
Day 3.5: I think the dog is trolling me. The cat is definitely planning something. They're in on it together, I swear!
Otherwise known as they were both quiet for a half an hour until I decided to nap and then they both had to sing me the song of their people's.
I love weird conversations with my parents. Like earlier today, my mother pointed out that my father is now the oldest out of his siblings by "process of elimination" because the other two already died.
Day 2 of the family being on vacation without me. This is the most time I've spent in a single day with the dog since we got her. She's ecstatic but I'm being reminded that I still don't really like dogs.
Welp, dropped the kids and the hubby off at the airport this morning. So far, I've replanted my green onions, moved my aquarium, switched out half the water and did some minor grocery shopping for myself. Yeeeah... it's gonna be a long 2 1/2 weeks.
