Sit back and relax, cup of tea in hand. Toe is a band that most people can fuck with. I chose this track in particular for its almost hypnotic riff. In usual post-rock fashion, the riff gets repeated ad nauseum while slowly building on layers of instrumentation until it reaches a fever pitch that'll have you feeling that being alive is okay sometimes.

I got called a slur for saying Shaq looked more like Jermaine O'Neal in the 06 playoffs in response to someone trying to diminish Dwyane Wade's accomplishments.

One of the emo-flavored pop punk acts of the late 90s that failed to truly break into the mainstream. But unlike other bands of their ilk, The Get Up Kids do not suck. Holiday has incredible energy from the get-go and a chorus that takes you right back to seeing your highschool crush kiss someone under the bleachers. It's the pinnacle of pop punk.

Gorgeous, maximalist instrumentation over which Dixon and Guevara deliver some of the most poignant bars in hip-hop, touching on the bonds formed and broken between family.
