  • Ya know, I remember some of the earliest things drilled into my head with programming. One of those? Was to test on multiple platforms to see how your program runs.

What does capcom do? They push out a game, that has a 50% chance of working. Their latest patch? Looks to have made things worse for PC.

Monster Hunter Wilds that is. It is like, how do you screw up something this bad?

Pretty much, and the thing is. PC is the largest gaming platform, you think they'd prioritize getting out a functional game because of this.

I think some of the worst thing, is the amount of downplaying of the issue. When it is this split, rather than acknowledging and working to try and get the devs to do something about the performance.

I remember one said, to turn the game to medium and don’t be entitled? People spent thousands on a high end computer, to play the game at a high to best setting.

So, it is way above requirements. And they shouldn’t be able to do that? It is completely dumb.

Ya know, been so long since I checked the code for the table I use. That I forgot that it automatically updates the type of cover I use across all locations, when I update the base one.
Also turns out on top of Denuvo, Capcom added in their own anti-tamper. Which the secondary one is likely causing performance issues. Well, that an the RE engine from what people are saying.

Though, I don’t think it is the RE engine. Given that some people can somehow run it fine.
Turns out Monster Hunter Wilds uses the RE engine, which according to players, is terrible for open world games.
Ya know, I am real annoyed at how games are released in such poor conditions. In the AAA space that is.

As I said, I just can’t justify a purchase of $70 anymore. It is $70 on a 50/50 gamble that a game properly functions for one.

The most basic thing anyone would expect a game to do.

Yep, if you look on Steam. Despite its very mixed reception. You see on the forums people defending this, a lot.

You also see a lot with performance problems. It is like those fans can’t just take two seconds to think, that hey.

Maybe the game isn’t doing well, and the reason it sucks ass. Is because it really does.

Monster Hunter started out as a niche, and now evolved into a very popular franchise. So, when it is literally split. There is a major problem.
Every time I look back lol.

The ending when you lose the crystal after the battle is over, because it shatters into pieces. In the post game, I was like.

"Don't do this to me now! I need that to be broken! Someone! Anyone! Find me super glue!"

And then you get an artificial one after showing an Arc stone to someone. And I was like.

    "Cool." :blob_evil_two:
I beat Absented Age 2, amazing game around every end. :blob_popcorn:

That hit hard around every end. Honestly, it felt like this was meant to be one full game, but they might have had to split it into two. No matter, each have was amazing.
Finally managed to do an upload. This is one of the themes of the game.

Had to send the music file to my email, then download it. Afterwards use iMovie to edit it in.

Not sure why I didn’t think of this. :blob_blank:
