  • Currently buying a gaming PC. Running me around $2.5k. So, I paid half, and paying the other half over the year.

Funny enough, monitor and everything else is coming before the damn box tomorrow. Ah well. :blob_blank:
I’m in that situation where I want to continue writing, but I am too tired to write. Eh, it ain’t so bad I guess. Usually the breaks gives me even more tragic ideas.

Hell, I made the dialogues even more heart wrenching than initially planned. :blob_sir:
Ya know, every time I do a rewrite. I realize how much of an ass I am. As in, it is amazing how much I can turn up the tragedy in an already tragic story.

Currently finishing up Chapter 8 for Azure Night, then it is off to Chapter 9. Where it gets turned up again to a feverish height.

Then to the finale, which rides it to the conclusion turning it up again. :blob_blank:
So finished another really good section of the game. To cut that short, it hammers in how the main’s action to leave the club with a few harmed those they were once friends with.

And in the next section, well. Turns out the main’s performance ability was fine, the person was taking advantage of their uncertainty and insecurities to try and damage their psyche.

At this point though, some still suspect the main of being a substitute for the original, since they are supposed to be dead.

Which they are, it is just that they can temporarily materialize a physical form.

Hmm…but there might be something to the substitute. That or something being wrong with the main, as they can’t clearly remember the day they showed up which led to the allegations.

And how they were at that point, their actions from now did not reflect their current behavior.

This is getting more interesting. Since at the time, the main was practicing necromancy all night to try and take to a temporary form.

Though, they showed up in time for the competition, but left their companion behind. And their memory is hazy, but this could also be a distortion with how the reality around them is being affected.
I have some killer tragic dialogues planned for Chapter 9 of Azure Night, plus some new additions to how that battle goes.

Same for the Finale(10). It is the culmination of everything throughout the story magnified to its highest point.

There won’t be enough dolphin sounds to express yourselves when this is over with. :blob_evil:

Currently wrapping up Chapter 7 though, and that was a heavy one as well. Chapter 7, 8, 9, and Finale will progressively get more heavy. :blob_popcorn:

    And I wrapped up Chapter 7. :blob_popcorn:
Ya know, since being on SH. I’ve been stress free. Kinda really goes to show how toxic RR is. Ya know, if I hadn’t invested so much time on that platform, I’d have moved everything over to here and then nuke the account.

Ah well, it is what it is. :meowsip:

I already have 1076 followers on there, so might as well continue building. :blob_hmm_two:
The time when a character is batshit insane. To cut it a bit short, the main character. When they formed a club with a few others, it was a place for them to belong. Their original, they weren’t a good person really.

As they were more distant, and their personality was off putting. Though, that steadily changed when they found a place to belong themselves.

However, they left their original one on bad terms

These problems stemming from how the main has changed in their current existence, versus their previous one. And them trying to come to terms with who they are now, and trying to identify as who they are.

First game was imitation versus reality. Will they truly be alive, even if a fake is the one to internalize the memories of the original? Will it be real?

It was a fight to exist when driven to their last legs.

The second game, is what it means to exist. Who they were and who they are now, the relation that leads their current path.

At the current point, the main is slowly coming to terms with who they are now. So their doubts are steadily going away.
Pretty much, if you thought Solem et Lunam and Vita et Mors was tragic. Azure Night is like you jack it up with steroids.

All the stories follow several main themes. One is.

What are you willing to do to achieve your desires? Even if it leads to self destruction, to be viewed as an enemy. Even if it damns everyone, how far will you go to make your wishes a reality?

Azure Night incorporates this down to its core.

And the new version will really hammer it in. :blob_popcorn:

As it is the closest to what the lead of the series did, that eternally branded them the true enemy.

Sadly, there are no pirate iguanas in this one. :blob_teary:
Hopefully in a month I will finish Azure Night’s rewrite. It will be up on Royal Road for a month or so first before coming to scribblehub. A ton of additions and changes are being made, you can view what changes and additions will come on Royal Road.

What a coincidence that's when I'm hoping to be well on my way with my rewrite.

When I finish the rewrite, I will be uploading it all to Royal Road, so readers can jump in that whenever they wish without having to wait on a schedule.

    Lol

Hope it goes well, rewrites can be tedious, but it is a necessary thing. :blob_blank:
Ya know, ever since I began writing online roughly seven years ago. I have never written myself into a corner, and have never abandoned a story.

I guess since I started publishing online, it made me try to do better and complete what I started. I even went back and finished basically every project I started.
Okay, this is making more sense now. With the current character story, as reflected back. The main and a few are a band of misfits, outcasts of society. Though, they got together and formed a club, a place where they can belong.

This was shown again with the current character story. How their brother and them were close, but due to societal pressure. The brother couldn’t protect his sister due to his injuries.

Well, okay that makes a lot of sense. :meowsip:

To cut things a bit short, yeah. The character is a lesbian in love with the main. :meowsip:

This whole part though was acceptance on who they are, and to face reality as themselves.

And another nice feature, where you can temporarily switch places with another character. As in control a new character with new abilities.
