I keep thinking about this heroes fanfic that might just be actually very fun.
For those who don't know the show, it's about a very cool serial killer sylar who can take superpowers of people by killing them in a special way. And some other unimportant characters.
At the end he gains the ability to fully understand others with a kiss - and thus probably take their power. it'd be fun if he got this ability at start.

The longer I read the third Dexter book, the more I am convinved that the writer didn't go cuckoo and made the Dark Passenger a demon or added some supernatural shit, and I verily hope my hunch is correct.

read Darkly Dreaming Dexter and I must admit, this is one of the rare times a tv adaptation of a novel was better than the original.
