Watched police videos and a twitch girl got her car burned at night in her driveway. Some guy was chilling in his car a few blocks away. They had some video camera footage and arrested him (He wore a mask and a hat, but a dog found it in the bushes) Someone in comments explained that he was mad that the girl had a BF. They didn't explain the motive well in the cop vids.
That moment when you visit your friend and their kids decide to open presents in front of you. But one of the kids didn't have their wish list so you skipped them and vowed to check again when they had a chance to update their wish list... but...
Was searching for something else, and found out about footbinding, a practice that continued for 1000 years.... Somethings it might be better not to know about.
Mid chapter POV swaps are the bane of people like me who use a screen reader to listen to stories. It never picks up the fancy splitter people use to show the pov swap, and backing up an audio is more of a pain than scrolling up on a screen to do a double take.
Watched a youtube video where they talked about stuff people hate in writing. The guy had an interesting take on "info dumps." He said that the problem with info dumps isn't the information, it is the build up. If readers want to know about the information then they won't be complaining about it being an info dump.
