    Since you always recommend things for other, let me recommend you a series.

    When Hikaru was on Earth, its my all time favorite romance novel series.

    I first bought it just to kill time, thinking "eh, there isn't anything to read so whatever", fast forward a few days later, I'm bawling my eyes out.

    • Very familiar title and plot (*check* Oh, baka-tsuki once did it~ oh yes! its very old (good) series)
    • No longer fan of romance/shoujo series (young girl me would love it though)
    • Not fan of "ghost following MC" trope. Especially as i saw some series do it before. But one top fav yuri is : Forever girls
    • Also no fan of "hey let's solve the problems of HIM to move him" + "why loverS"

    Ty for the recommendation despite me not reading it.
    I just was never fan of the "nostalgia/melancholic" type, especially if "Shoujo-ish". Like the popular series (even to chineses) : Natsume's book of friends
    that and bc not fan of "ghost/JP-foklore" idea in any type or form. It just isnt compatible with my core tastes. Probably bc of the theme of "death/afterdeath/moving-on/so-on-etc".

    Just like you did, for me it's this one that made me bawl my eyes out for it. A total mess of tears and snot and penetrating sadness. (tearing just writing this).

    The kind that its pure writing style, melancholic, old series of early LNs in japan, and just very very sad.
    The kind of masterpiece i would probably deserve a movie blockbuster for it.

    (especially reinforced in recent years by the fact, people love "overboosting them" like street fighter Chun Li (not just artist but the CREATOR too) and Tatsumaki. ESPECIALLY A CERTAIN TATSUMAKI/Rei artist that always overdo it but SOMEHOW is a rare artist that kept giving art of her)

    • Mindblowing logic (author) that "Blessing on this Wonderful world" = KAZUMA the one blessing the world (ignoring comedy, he truly saved it multiple times AND redempted lot people)

    • LUCK, IQ, CHARISMA = op
    • Romance (Multiples, Emilia not main one+ unpopular ones)

    like always the same thing : everytime a character is "kinda famous" BUT FOR UNKNOWN REASONS I DONT APPRECIATE her, turns out to be me or a facet of me in the end.

    .................Now i think even more about it...10 years ago, there seemed to be some kind of very old saying or logic like : "Humans dislike people that are too similar to themselves/Disliking a character is often due to reflecting a part of self" something like that. A very very old one, in same vein of "1 apple a day, keep doctor away" of era.

    Tsuru-nee-san, I need your help and invoke you to tap into your knowledge. I’m looking for a reincarnation story in a Gacha game for inspiration. I’d prefer if the Gacha game is a crappy and unfair one, with a majority of weak characters, and the MC has to make the best of what they have. Preferably without overpowered skills. Also, I’d prefer if the MC isn’t one of the Gacha characters but the master.
