@TsuruI_am_a_bot Regarding your question about titles, all of my recent work is written in more of a lightnovel style, but I still tend to use shorter titles. My reverse harem series that takes place in a beastworld setting with shifters is called "Her Beasts", my cutesy dungeon series "The Dangerously Cute Dungeon, and my half hotel - half dungeon series "The Innkeeper's Dungeon"

@TsuruI_am_a_bot I prefer to use shorter titles because it is easier to fit on a book cover. With asian stories, their shortened alphabet or whatever you call it allows for just a few symbols to translate into such a long title. They also, traditionally, didn't have a summary, so the title had to function as both.

@TsuruI_am_a_bot I also posted my stories I wrote a decade and a half here while using the old Wattpad way of doing a blurb because I wanted it to be dated in that way on purpose. I'm only really posting them to have more credibility as an author since having completed works shows you have the dedication to finish what you started.

Okay so...I read all the comments and honestly, that...was Enlightening. Diverse opinions and discussions --- this is what I like and why I posted in the first place. And yeah, the question was a bit stupid ( like its just 3 chapters ). I know I gotta be consistent.

But can you guys tell me a site that is good for medieval fantasy ? in wattpad (where I am present with the same username) is mostly about "love".SH seems to be anime centric.

I vaguely (crappy memory) seem to remember, royalroad is like MEGA GIGA elitist. And that they are mega toxic to "noobs" writers.

So ask @Paul_Tromba or @RepresentingEnvy or @SailusGebel or any vet user that know more on this subject of where to write. (im more jp/CN/animeish stuff)

RR and SH are both good for medieval fantasy. But as we all said, you will have to do something with the cover, title, and synopsis for SH. Probably will have to do the same for RR.

Rotoria can also be good for medieval fantasy so long as there is some romantic tension or vibes somewhere in the story.

As much as I hate to say it but a lot of medieval fantasy/historical fantasy enjoyers are on tumblr as well if you release chapters as blogposts.

I'm gonna be honest though, I agree with blob. I do not like the gatekeeping and downbringing. We aren't RR. We were all bad when we first started but we learned and it seems like Abrupt wants to learn and grow. SH will remain a safe haven for new writers.

Its not downbringing though , when its simply saying the truth. Good or bad.
I'm just honest and upfront.
Sometimes encouragement isnt the correct choice.

Its just that his style writing is not fitting here and simply said it. Sure he can stay, but sometimes its better to go to a fertile ground, compared to a too high pHground, where seeds LIKELY wont grow. (and warned him about Royalroad elitism) (and called you guys to find better suited place IF HE WANT TO GO THERE compared to SH where people prefer smut/fantasy)
