The internet means less interaction with the world around you. You are conditioned to short term happiness. It gets even worse over time because of things like TikTok or Instagram where people are judged based of how many hearts they get. That is not real.

I would say that the internet is turning their attention away from the things that would give them real happiness: a family to love.

Which comes back to not marrying and not starting families.
