Writing a businessman/merchant-type character is surprisingly easy, I don't have to look up professional terms or try to understand marketing schemes.
They are already there in my mind.
My story is really turning into a dnd campaign, its hard to not retreat back into what I'm comfortable with. Plots dropping at a moment notice, plot points get yeeted into the incinerator, widening the scope of things for no reason.
