going +1 of off a blind draw simply isn't powerfull enough lose out on being able to open hand traps which is already pretty good going first and absoloutly crucial to be able to play going second
As someone who has tried to keep up completely with Yu-Gi-Oh, I have to agree with Gogo on this. Even over the past few years, pot of desires hasn't been that great. Pot of greed could be limited to 1 and still barely see competitive play with today's meta.
Look, your definition of bad is nonsensical. The only thing I can say is that you have a curious and narrow view of card utility. Not to mention the fact that it is banned makes this entire discussion counterfactual.
any discussion about the viabilty of a card is pointless unless done so from the perspective that you are playing to win and if you are playing to win the only logical thing to do is to play the best deck and while what is the best deck is almost always up in the air but if none of the decks up for contention wants to play a card isn't it safe to say it's bad?
