    I want to say that, parents will always want to "manage" their children, most do it because they care… even if they are not necessarily right…. Personally, I rarely disagreed with mine, I rarely feel managed as well… But of the points I had disagreed with them in my life, I like to believe it was not because of didn’t want to be managed…but because it was advice that did not work for me...

    Getting my folks to understand things like “not wanting children”, or taking a risk by working in the creative industry. It was simply different points of view, and to negotiate this difference either getting them to accept your way or work out some kind of middle ground you can live with, it was… growing up I guess…

    It’s too late for me, but my career advice, be an accountant, learn all the tax loopholes, work 10 years at a job you hate at a megacorp with a high salary helping them save billions, spend the rest of your life writing. Min-max this shit.

    I appreciate the effort they put into it with transitioning the scenes from real life to that of on a stage, then back.
    Did you know they used painted grapes on the spines of the pearl dresses so the dancers didn't get hurt during their routines?

    well, you can always use Grammarly and similar apps, they help, even if you are only using chromes' extension, they would be helpful to you.

    You do know that the forum is almost author only, right? Post that under you last chapter or something, else the chances of improvement will be rather slim

    If you really want comments, you have to give people a reason to want to comment. You cast the bait and see if any fish bite. For example, posing a question to them that makes them actually want to ask or say something.

    Kira is right. You should bait them. Find a reader's version of the questions "how do I get to trending," or "why do I get a 1-star rating?"
