Very best thing you can do is to always immediately look or answer when you're being called by her.
Dont let them learn that its okay to ignore others when you're using phone/gadgets.

How very, informitive. I was expecting something more personal, all the advice i got was from elders who was parrents way before me.

I've been through too much to pick just one or two personal things to tell you. The child's needs change as it grows, and so too must parenting strategy. Also, the temperament of the child is a factor in what works or doesn't work.
