Yet many authors who gave feedback doesnt even bothered to read past 5 chapters.

Of course im not talking about AI written here. Yes, AI assisted, for people who don't use english since the day they were born

Womp, womp. If you want to help people on your terms, do it. Instead of talking about authors who used their precious free time to at least try giving feedback.

You can try...But the hate for AI is too great...A little for checking spellings and grammar...sentence formation is OK that's the accepted AI assisted....

Chapter numbers aren't a good metric to show how one reader or reviewer care about the story. Not everyone chapter lengths are standardized.

Use words count.

Recent example is @greyblob stopping reading the work of @JayMark at 30 and @Louhi at 8. The treatment look different, but the words read are still around 30K for both.

@Kurayami already, was giving feedback that focused about their marketability before. That's why now i said for "next feedback". Maybe you need AI to read more carefully
@Pennywise Yeah, and unfortunately some peeps looked past the reason that author use AI

@Rosica That, and readers comments is actually also a good metric (such as how fast and what kind of comments your readers put on your latest chapter)

That didn't even invalidate what I said, so no. And in your last feedback thread it was about blurb, cover, and few chapters in your own title. I am saying be the change you wanna see, and you telling me I have to read better because you said "next"? Maybe your brain is cooked by AI.

You can't reliably use readers comment for a metric in SH because of the site's readers cultures won't let you do that. Every sites audience have different cultures.
Rosica
Rosica
Like what the site's veterans like @BenJepheneT @RepresentingCaution and @Leti repeated so many times, the readers of SH are silent. The best you can expect from them are emojis or TFTC comments.

If someone is commenting on your story outside that, they are either scam bots or WN tourists (in @Dec words)
Rosica
Rosica
Most authors on SH are casual writers. They don't usually care about metrics, anyway. Judge their works based on the statistics all you want. You will just waste your time.

This is the best SH webnovel of all times based on writing quality according to professionals like @TheTrinary and see how it only has so much engagements from readers.

He also do feedbacks on Retard Road Legends (@Hans.Trondheim words) as StgBria.

Nah, I wouldn’t judge it purely based on statistic, there’s barely any reliable data anyway since mostly are on the early stage.

At most, I’d tell them not to let feedback here define their story. Take it as input, not a verdict. If you try to follow every opinion, you’ll just end up losing your own direction. (That's what not mentioned enough here)

And maybe encourage them if language is the issue, it’s completely fine to use AI for help. As long as they remember that you should always be the final editor of your AI editor. Something like that

@Rosica I strongly agree that being the most popular doesnt neccesarily being the best in many sites. LMAO, so that RR jargon is actually coming from Hans? hahaha
