There are 1.4 billion Chinese people, so there are 1.4 billion ways to make fried rice. You mainly just need leftover rice, 3-4 eggs, preferably minced garlic, and whatever sauce you like (I use both light and dark soy). Usually people add in meat and veggies as well. It’s just a way to use up leftovers and make it yummy.
> Be me
> Be lazy, optionally: be white and american
> microwave white rice
> get some egg yolks
> mix in egg yolks with rice until the rice is all yellow
> use a greased up, tin foiled pan
> spread eggy rice all over pan
> bake in oven for 25-30mins at 400 degrees
> put that shit on w/e. add veggies. idc.
> optionally; cook the unused egg whites and add them to egg rice to make eggy egg rice.
Basic way is:
1. beat your eggs
2. Mince garlic, chop up 3 spring onions, and whatever veggies you like such as onions, carrots, etc. Also any meat you like. I use Spam because it’s easy and I’m lazy.
3. Add oil to wok/pan, cook eggs first before taking it out, then re-add oil and fry garlic, white half of spring onions, meat, and veggies.
4. Add rice, then sauce. You can experiment with different combo of sauces. It’s for personal taste.
5. After everything is done, last step is to sprinkle in the green parts of the spring onions for garnish. I like black pepper so I add that too.
its the lazy way to make golden fried rice, then add more egg and w/e else you want if you're not lazy.
sometimes i'll add minced veggies but sometimes i dont care and just wanna eat.
Yes, I use oven and pans cause then there's no mess and I don't have to babysit it. LAZY. DUH.
