I'm getting ready to release XNPC early next month, and I'm going to drop the first nine chapters all on day one on Royal Road so it'll be eligible for the Rising Stars list. But I remember hearing that Scribble Hub has a limit on how many chapters you can post in one day before you're flagged for spam and (I think?) shadowbanned. Does anyone know what that limit is so I don't accidentally go over it?

It doesn't happen. This is misinformation. You can post 9 chapters without being flagged as spam. It's just that when you show up on latest updates, if you uploaded many chapters within a short time frame, the newest one replaces the old, and you don't get a new spot on latest updates.

I posted 5 chapters a day every day on reuploading OP Witch, and it would still show up the next day on latest updates. Even on the last day when I posted 10 chapters.

Whatever you do, space them out, maximize your place on the front page. If you keep 1 hour between chapters if you put out more in one day, then you will appear more on the fresh page than dumping them.
Yeah, but the first day doesn't matter as much if you are on new stories. You can dump 9 on the first day. Though, sometimes you get unlucky, and your new story is quickly buried.

I meant the first page where the latest chapter releases appear. If you dump five chapters, only the last one will be there. If you space them out, you can push them all to be there and usually having an hour between them ensures that chapter 1-2-3-4 all will be at least on the front page for 30 minutes or so.

I know what you meant, but the front page also has new stories. I am saying that you can dump 9 on the first day, and I wouldn't do it any day after if you want to max potential. New stories is kinda like trending, and it has the potential to get you a lot of readers if you are on there for a long time. You might get unlucky and it get pushed off the main page fast though.

I try everyday which is when I generally complete a chapter. It usually takes me a hour to a couple days to finish chapters. My zombie story I’m planning I won’t post until it’s done and even then I’ll do the new chapters each day if I don’t work. I work Mondays, Wednesdays. I have Tuesdays and Thursdays off but even then I do some adult life skills classes which take up my time as well. So weekends are generally my best time to upload. Granted that is just for me. I know not everyone has that luxury.

Generally, I'm not aware of the max number of chapters to upload a day, neither have I heard of it.
I jut upload as many chapters are ready and I'm saying that for my first book.

I just planned something different for my second book cause the chapters a way longer and it'll take me a lot of time to write them. But if there's a chapter upload limit, then I'm free to hear it.

Don't wanna get ......

The only rule is that if you upload too fast, it gets hidden from the latest updates section on the main page.
This is to prevent authors from unfairly hogging space on the main page.

I recommend releasing 5-10 chapters simultaneously at the very start, but then make sure to space them out by one to two hours minimum.

You might get unlucky and have your series be one of the 80% that never show up in the latest series section.
No, that is not a joke.
