I rewatched The Fellowship of the Ring after many years, this time in the original language, and man, it definitely holds up to the fond memory I had. Actually, it's even better. They don't make movies like that anymore, and especially, they seem incapable of writing stories like this, which, though simple, are infinitely more complex and epic than the garbage Hollywood feeds us today.
