I've found that oftentimes the hardest part about writing is actually getting started. Once I've written the first few hundred words I'm usually set to complete a chapter in one sitting.
On one hand, I want to figure out how much I've improved since I've started writing four years ago, but going back to read my old stories (or god forbid the fanfic I wrote) would give me a cringe-induced heart attack.
I simultaneously work well and terribly while on pressure—it's a coin toss as to which, or if both. But what I do hate is getting rushed through things when I have plenty of time to do work.
A bird landed at the edge of my window sill. I haven't moved from my bed for the past fifteen minutes for fear of scaring it away. It just keeps chirping.
