I use Scrivener as an all-in-one everything.

The sequel they never tell you about... Personally, so far I haven't come across another person writing the same kind of story I'm doing.

I write and read them, though I don't actively seek out the genre/tag when searching stories even when I may have it selected.

Reading Yellow Typhoon makes me smile and reading the mostly finished first draft chapters of its sequel gets me hyped. :cool:

I've been on RR since 2019 and my experience there has never been too bad. I've always had more success (pitiful as it is) with my stories there compared to here or even Spacebattle and I never so much wrote meta stuff. This isn't just limited to RR, it's like that here too. And Spacebattles...

It's not word count which bothers me; it's a non-issue. What does make me struggle is giving a scene the full justice it deserves. Like its flow, or character interactions and just making things believable and not forced. Just making the emotional tone just right, not too cheesy and not too long...

It's like an open secret there's a few writing RR discord cabals out there. Come this December or early 2026 you're going to see something like this happen again, but with deckbuilding fics. Also, just wanted to point out since nobody else did but the favorites link didn't work.

There's scenes in my outline that gets me overly emotional and sometimes when I play them out in my head I get pretty teary-eyed, I have to be careful like when I'm at work for example since it'll make me legitimately choke up if I'm not careful. I can only hope I'm not making it too gut...
