Finished episode 18, it has been getting better and better. Kinda wish the rest of the anime had this quality in its writing.
Still my biggest critique is that in the anime, the enemies guns are pez dispensers, and the ally’s guns are guns. In the VN the fight scenes were still ridiculous but it seemed as if most guns were real. Mostly…
Episode 16 is brilliant.
Episode 15 is abit ridiculous can’t tell if I prefer the way it handles the love plot to the way the VN does.
The second version of the Steins;Gate 0 opening is better than the first, even though I am pretty sure it only changed the visuals.
The fight scene in ep 14 was better handled in the VN, although I appreciate the anime’s lack of fan service. However I think the reason they are doing it this way is to retcon one of the end reveals of the VN. However the scene before pretty much already did so…

The 10th episode of Steins; Gate 0, especially the first half, is way too rushed and awkward for that. Instead of cutting out some of the less important stuff it decided to keep it, and instead of refining the important stuff, it cut it. Granted they turned ~3hrs into 20 minutes, but I believe they could have done better, I probably could and I am a third rate amateur writer.
I was reviewing this game and there's this really cool tsumego-like move that I missed. White to play.

Just finished episode 9, while it isn’t as good as in the VN, episode 8 was a good expansion to the story. Most of which didn’t happen in the VN. Daru is also better in the anime, at least so far. In the VN he was abit flanderized imo. Although that is mostly going off vibes. -
