Creative writing is a fun hobby, but sitting down for too long can have adverse effects on your health. Drop the exercises you like to do often.

Sometimes me wake up from bed. Hardcore, innit?

But overall me just walk a lot. Walk to work, walk from work, walk when me need to get somewhere. Less transport more legs and well, it works a bit. Working out not worth it anyway.

Normally mostly stuff fitness center, but that's more or less off limits for a year now :D

So I got a bicycle ergometer for home for cardio.
So right now it's more or less 4 times/week dumbbell training, 3-5 times a week cardio training, and every morning a small wake up workout of ~30 minutes (10 cardio, 20 stuff like sit ups and push-ups).

Besides that, I often just go walk after writing or during a break. Good to counter the long sittings and the combination of fresh air and music helps with new ideas...

Before quarantine, I used to partially walk to work. The nearest bus station is around a thirty-minute walk, so there's that. Then, the bus stop I get off once work finishes is at a mall that's also thirty minutes away, so that, coupled with the wandering around I do inside the mall, guaranteed at least an hour of walking every day.

Then on weekends, I also go out often, and since I go to the same bus stop, it's another few hours of walking. That lifestyle really helped me lose weight and get rid of all my previous health problems like a fatty liver and some cholesterol problems.

Now, I think I'm gaining weight because of the work-from-home mandates and the closure of the gym in my apartment :(

With my gestational diabetes, I walk circles in my living room after every meal: 20 minutes after breakfast, 30 minutes after lunch, 20 minutes after dinner, every day without exception. Sometimes I copulate with my husband, but unless it's a quickie, we can't do that immediately after walking because I have to test my blood sugar. Cooking handles my upper body.

Drop my workout routine?

I probably shouldn't.

These 2K lbs. weights could crush both your puny bones and my puny rowboat, which I do weightlifting in.

I may be incredibly muscular, buff, and strong, but I cannot swim.

I haven't left my house for a month, but walking is fun.

Actually the walking isn't fun. But listening to music is fun.

Ugh, this thread is reminding me that the gym that I used to go to is closed... and I still haven't found a replacement for exercise :blob_no:

I wish I could swim
