The Magical Girl of Greed and Desires visits you one day and offers you a free reincarnation in an isekai universe.
She can generally make your isekai world anything you want, and she tells you that her goal is to make you happy.
Her powers are endless, and she can grant you any wish you desire, but she warns that it is better for you if you ask for fewer things.
Being too greedy will come back to bite you in the form of bad karma. The bad karma can be any number of things (i.e. horrible fates), but the Magical Girl explains that any excess greed during character/world creation will be perfectly balanced with negative karma.
The Magical Girl explains that the best way to avoid karmic retribution is make requests that are the minimum necessary for you to be happy. For example, don't ask for $1 billion dollars if $1000 dollars is all you need to be happy. If you don't need the power to shoot lasers out of your eyes, it is better if you don't ask for it.
As a caveat, there is no "random" option. You must choose exactly what kind of world you'll reincarnate in, what kind of parents you'll have, your skills, your physical appearance, etc. You must specify everything.

1. What would you ask for?

2. Do you generally require many things to be happy? Or can you be happy with relatively few things?

3. Could you be happy as a poor peasant? Does this mean that you can't be anything more than an impoverished peasant in your next life?

4. Is there anything that's worth the bad karma? What if you were told that there was a 5X multiplier on bad karma? Specifically, even being a little bit greedy will have a terrible cost (i.e. becoming blind when you're 18 years old?)

1. Nothing. I refuse to isekai. Making deals with cosmic entities despite their claim to be benevolent is stupid.
:blob_shock: I realized I forgot to make the scenario mandatory!

...Normally the magical girl kidnaps the respondent and forces them to participate... :blob_no:

Answer me this first, Does bad karma makes something bad happen randomly or does the magical girl controls it?

Mandatory? That changes things.

1. I wish to reincarnate into a world as similar to this one as possible. (You say reincarnate in an isekai world, but isekai just means "another world" which is pretty redundant.) I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MODERN CONVENIENCE! Give me middle class parents with stable jobs and pensions, both of whom will love and support me without being overbearing. Ensure their physical and mental health until several years after I've begun living on my own. Make sure we live somewhere cold, and in a stable country with stable neighbors.

I want a healthy body that will survive any diseases, at least until the age of forty, without gaining any disabilities. I want to find love. I want to raise a family and love my children dearly.

2. I'm a greedy son of a bitch. I need a lot of things to be happy, like a stable job, someone to love, and access to good food and internet. Of course, I could live in a box apartment and not have any problems. (I don't need much need for material objects though. They're just things!)

3. No. I like stability, and having a low income does not guarantee stability.

4. I'll take the bad luck. I've chosen everything that truly matters to me.

What if the magical girl said that they can only control your next life, but not your future ones~?

Then my wish will have to change a little,

A world where there is magic and I want to be the king of a large empire, I want to have superior magic control, I want an internet connection and devices which can be connected to it.
and the entire world should be destroyed whenever something unfortunate happens to me and this should be known to the world as a prophecy by the gods

I would like to reincarnate into a world that is still stuck in it's early tribal period, so....like Earth's history before empires and nations were a thing. Hunter-gatherer anyone? This world however would eventually discover magic which would jumpstart it but I would start my existence in this world several centuries before magic is discovered. Also, this world would NEVER advance beyond medieval era technology, though its magic would advance greatly. The only problem being, there would be "dark periods" where magic and its wielders would stagnate and weaken due to simply not being as good as previous generations, though this would be followed by "golden ages" and this cycle would rinse and repeat for eternity making the world stagnate eternally into the same technologic era. The magic would rise and fall though depending on which era it was in, dark or gold. So I would live before and during magic.

Now for my wishes.

1) I would wish for a body that can't be hurt by anyone or anything, magic or melee or otherwise. Meaning I could not be killed by anyone or anything except the aging process.

2) I would wish to reincarnate repeatedly into this very same world for eternity Like when I die of old age, I reincarnate and be born to live once more between 1 and 5 years after the death of my previous incarnation. It can be any number between 1 and 5. Roll a dice Miss Magical Girl!! ALso I would always be born a human even if their are other races and since I can only die by the aging process, I imagine the absolute youngest I could possibly die each incarnation is 70-75. I choose human only since I can guess asking to be an ancient elf every life would really mke the karma bar freaking skyrocket and I don't care about eternal life if I have reincarnation as I have described it.

3) I would be granted a sword that is tied to my very soul meaning it could not be wielded by anyone but me. It would reject and kill anyone who attempted to take it from me and would eventually reappear at my side. It could cut through anyone and anything (except me of course). It would follow me through each incarnation and randomly appear when I turned 13 each incarnation. I would instinctively know this blade and this blade would be able to store my memories from each previous incarnation for me to access and study and learn from every single previous incarnation of mine. I would also prefer to be able to customize the blade's look though that isn't terribly important to me and is optional.

As for what kind of parents and financial or social beginnings I would be born into? I don't care. Roll the dice. Romance? I would like to have some good relationships but it wouldn't be realistic to have a happy marriage or whatever EVERY single life so I suppose that could be just as random as my beginnings. Some good. Some great. Some bad. Some terrible.

So what would be my karmic backlash then? @minacia

1. What would you ask for?

- a simple family who had a stable job, so I can eat three times a day. I want a healthy body, and I want to die happy. I guess 50+ years old was enough for me to live. Being 60+ is hard cause many children disregard their parents..... Yeah, saw this scenario many times.

2. Do you generally require many things to be happy? Or can you be happy with relatively few things?

- As long as I'm happy and all of my basic needs were solved, I got no problem about it. I prefer the same world like us cause it's convenient.

3. Could you be happy as a poor peasant? Does this mean that you can't be anything more than an impoverished peasant in your next life?

- Well, since I have a choice. I will choose ro be rich. Yeah, money was everything, though I don't want to be the richest man on earth. Too much hassle.

4. Is there anything that's worth the bad karma? What if you were told that there was a 5X multiplier on bad karma? Specifically, even being a little bit greedy will have a terrible cost (i.e. becoming blind when you're 18 years old?)

- Equivalent exchange? Sort of like FMAB? Our decision were always had results, either it's negative or not. No matter how satisfied we live, there's always regrets deep in our hearts. That's why karma will always be part of our life. So don't think about anything and just live your life the way you want it to.

I just want to have multiple reincarnation throughout different universes and a store log that updates with each world I visit and good observations skills really good observation observations skills which tells me intent of a person talking to me, as well doesn't let anything go unnoticed.

1. The ability to break my own limits and the knowledge on how to grow stronger. Plus luck to find the resources to do so, if that doesn't add too much negative karma.

2. The most important thing to make sure you stay happy in an isekai is enough power to make sure you can keep your happiness. Doesn't matter if you are a king who owns a powerful kingdom or a homeless man who owns a piece of bread.

3. I could be happy so long as I have the power to achieve whatever I would like. Ofc, I would prefer a hermit's life in a safe zone within a dangerous region in the world. Travelling or teleporting to villages/towns/cities whenever I need resources or want interaction.

4. The only thing that would be worth increased bad karma would be something that could offset the bad karma. Going blind at 18 doesn't matter if you gain the ability to sense the world around you with some sixth sense.

1. I want to have a peaceful life. (Very vague but peaceful in a way that)
1.a I don't have worries in food, job, and home. (I would probably add 'having no grudge from others and vice versa' and 'owing no one, but that is up to me and how I interact with others)
1.b The place I live is not noisy to the point of headache.

2. Unlimited art supplies for painting, drawing, and sculpting. (Karma only comes if your action or wish will affect other people, didn't it? Well, this wish won't affect others but myself so I don't think its too much. I just wish to do what I love that I can't do in my former life. I dont want fame nor adoration from others...I just want to be by myself)

3. Body of a healthy person
3.a One that would get sick once in a while. (My former body is too sickly because I was born prematurely)

I think that is all I can think and pretty much what I want. It was ridiculous to think about world peace but if I do wish for it, how will the karma bite me back though? It is impossible for the people around the globe to do bad for me because of world peace but it can be our world blowing up (lol) which out of humans capabilities to interfere. I also think karma is about two or more people being included from an action or decision made so wishes that doesn't include others but yourself is okay.

Things are about to go wrong for you, good sir.
1) I would wish for a body that can't be hurt by anyone or anything, magic or melee or otherwise. Meaning I could not be killed by anyone or anything except the aging process.
Congratulations! You are born with a body that cannot be hurt, but you have serious birth defects! You are born blind, deaf, and incredibly feeble!

You will be reborn this way, over, and over, and over, and over. Each life you live, you will have horrible birth defects in a variety of new ways, some of them incredibly painful! Did you know, some people are born with skin that just sloughs off? It's true!

Remember those birth defects? You can't feel or hold the weapon, much less wield it! I bet your blade looks really fancy! Shame you're blind, remember? Also, you can never gain any physical muscle or magical ability, so mastering the sword is impossible.

As for what kind of parents and financial or social beginnings I would be born into? I don't care. Roll the dice. Romance? I would like to have some good relationships but it wouldn't be realistic to have a happy marriage or whatever EVERY single life so I suppose that could be just as random as my beginnings. Some good. You will never find love, you will always be poor, and you will never be strong. Have a happy life!

1. What would you ask for?
I'd pull up a list of my favorite isekai series and tell her "Take your pick." But to take the question seriously, I'd probably ask for two things, a classic isekai setting, and a unique skill. Perhaps I'd start by modeling the world after the world of Lazy Dungeon Master. I'd be specific about the unique skill, but hard to say what I'd want in the moment. Maybe ask for the option to pick it later somehow so I could see what'd work best in the world. If I can't do that, I'd probably just take the "Monster Creation" I gave the MC of one of my stories.

2. Do you generally require many things to be happy? Or can you be happy with relatively few things?
Not especially. As long as I have something to keep myself occupied I'm fine. So just, plop me down near a free public library and make sure I have enough palatable food to live and I think I could make do.

3. Could you be happy as a poor peasant? Does this mean that you can't be anything more than an impoverished peasant in your next life?
Probably not. It'd be hard to keep my mind busy in that sort of life.

4. Is there anything that's worth the bad karma? What if you were told that there was a 5X multiplier on bad karma? Specifically, even being a little bit greedy will have a terrible cost (i.e. becoming blind when you're 18 years old?)
I would absolutely want a unique skill one way or another. I'd probably go overboard out of spite if I heard that the negative karma was being ramped up. In which case I'd go into deep detail for a skill. Right now I'm thinking I'd call it "Cursed Demon King" Whereby suffering only makes me more powerful. Blind by Eighteen? Cool, now my anguished cries can shatter mountains. A member of my harem died and can't be revived? Guess who's literally eating Gods for supper. My isekai world ended up boring because of my bad luck ruining everything? I gain the power to create universes that operate purely under my own will. Or I could be facetious by asking for a Karmic based unique skill and exploit it to improve my luck.

Edit: I would also very much like to be a girl in my next life, thanks!
