I'm actually kind of curious about this.
Unfortunately, this poll is probably less relevant to you if you're bi/pan.
1. Would you consider dating Zee? Why or why not?
2. Suppose that you asked to be friends for a while more, and during that time, Zee starts picking up more mannerisms that are stereotypical for their new gender. You ask them why they have this sudden change in behavior, and Zee explains that they think you might be attracted to them more if they act more like that specific gender. What do you tell Zee?
3. Suppose that Zee starts becoming self-conscious about a certain body characteristic (i.e. too tall/short, or too large/small), and they start pestering you about going to the witch to change themself to the way that matches your preferences even better. What do you tell Zee?
4. Suppose that you accidentally stumble across Zee's diary, and you take a peek. Inside are very detailed notes and observations about what you like, as well as somewhat creepy commentary like "(You) laughed at a penguin joke today, so I should research penguin jokes I can tell" or "(You) stared at XXX person's butt today, so maybe I should emphasize my butt more." How do you react?
5. Could you ever date someone who obsessively tries to match themselves to your preferences/tastes? What if they like everything that you do, the point that it almost seems like they don't have their own opinions, and they're just parroting your preferences back at you?
The story starts in a fantasy isekai universe when you were a teenager. You have this childhood friend named Zee who you were always close with, and you grew up playing with each other. You like Zee as a person and the two of you were friends all the way into high school.
Zee is not a gender that you are attracted to.
However, surprisingly, they confessed their feelings to you in high school, and you rejected them at the time saying that you aren't attracted to their gender.
Fast forward a couple years, and Zee approaches you. At first you don't recognize them because they look totally different. Specifically, they went and changed their sex to suit your tastes. Zee explains that they went to see a witch, who gave them a permanent gender-bending potion for a 10,000 gold coins. Currently, Zee is biologically the sex that you're attracted to, and in fact you find their appearance very attractive.
Zee explains that they know you very well since the two of you grew up together, and they know your tastes, so they specifically asked the potion-brewing witch for a body appearance that matched your preferences.
Zee also says that they were kinda gender-flexible all along, and they don't care whether they are male or female. They are perfectly happy to change their sex to match your preferences. Likewise, you realize at this point that Zee's personality was always kind of androgynous, so they look quite natural acting as either gender.
At this point, Zee asks if you would consider dating them again.
What would you say?
