I'm procrastinating sharing my story POB, and I've uploaded it three times then deleted it because I got super duper nervous.
Anyway, I want to chat and ask some questions.

Were you nervous about publishing your story?
What was the outcome of your story?
How many readers did you get in the first week?
Were you nervous about your story getting stolen (my story got stolen once >^>)?
What would you change differently about your story if you could go back in time and re-upload it?
What is your story about and how did you come up with the idea?
Should I stop procrastinating and upload my story XD?

It will be fun to know your answers!

Were you nervous about publishing your story?: Not really.

What was the outcome of your story?: A few people read it.

How many readers did you get in the first week?: Not many, 4 or 5 I think

Were you nervous about your story getting stolen (my story got stolen once >^>)?: I’m not good enough for that.

What would you change differently about your story if you could go back in time and re-upload it?: Change my first cover I guess.

What is your story about and how did you come up with the idea?: The end of the world. It was a rough night.

Should I stop procrastinating and upload my story XD?: If it makes you happy, then why not? Worst that can happen is someone shits on you, but that’s extremely rare on ScribbleHub.

Were you nervous about publishing your story?
Yes I was nervous. Because I am nervous for a lot of things. But its mainly because of my bad grammar but when I saw some guys uploading novel with extremely bad grammar, I thought "well, my grammar is better. So why being nervous if they did it with worse ?"

What was the outcome of your story?

Meh.

How many readers did you get in the first week?
Idk how this is working but I have 24 readers. I uploaded my first novel Wednesday.

What is your story about and how did you come up with the idea?

Simple. From my delusion. Sometimes I imagine myself, with great power, doing some adventure. Sometimes I trained during millions years to be the stronger on a VRMMORPG, sometimes I played VR Doom during many in game years before log out in an apocalypse and then using my Doom knowledge to destroy every monster of the Apocalypse, being a reborn as a kitsune and, for unknown reason, enter Hogward, being a serial reincarnator, being someone with great amount of mana, great mana manipulation and then testing my delusion about the cheat ability which is mana manipulation, and many more delusion... My first novel (this week) is about a character made after myself, with the mind I have during my delusion, which get granted 5 wishes which get him the cheat ability : shape shifting without being affected by physical law.

Were you nervous about publishing your story?
Absolutely! Always!

What was the outcome of your story?
Close your eyes and click the upload button! I'm still writing mine.

How many readers did you get in the first week?
50 or so?

Were you nervous about your story getting stolen (my story got stolen once >^>)?
No not really. I don't think I'm famous enough for that. If your story gets stolen it probably means you're amazing!

What would you change differently about your story if you could go back in time and re-upload it?
I dunno!

What is your story about and how did you come up with the idea?
Uhh, lewd stuff. And it comes to me in my sleep.

Should I stop procrastinating and upload my story XD?
Yes! Go upload it!

I upload on multiple platforms, but I started on fanfiction.net many years ago, and I was very nervous back then. However, I improved a lot with time. My only regret is not developing my creative writing skills sooner. Then again, I did many other interesting things with my life when I wasn't writing, so it's not that big of a regret. Feedback may hurt at first, but you need to start somewhere. Think of it like a workout. No pain, no gain!

Welcome to Scribblehub! I'm pretty new to the site myself. Just started the other day.

Were you nervous about publishing your story? No

What was the outcome of your story? Few readers in both here and Wattpad, but it got me to meet a few good friends from Wattpad when I started uploading it around half a year ago

How many readers did you get in the first week? It hasn't been a week but I'm at the 20s on this site. Impossible to track on Wattpad but I have around five people who have read a volume all the way through.

Were you nervous about your story getting stolen? No

What would you change differently about your story if you could go back in time and re-upload it? Make the pacing quicker, rework some lines to make it more engaging and dynamic, work on my dialoguing

What is your story about and how did you come up with the idea? Just a frankenstein of my favorite anime and video games in a Persona-like shell with OCs and some own twists. I just wanted to make something very similar to the LNs that I read and follow in terms of plot format and prose, but all with my own voice.

Should I stop procrastinating and upload my story XD? Sure thing. I'll read it. Tell me when you're done so I can give feedback :^)

I have only publish a single fucking chapter and a mfcuker came swooping in. So yes.
I mean, I understand if someone steals a story which is succesfull and has many chapters already, but what does one gain from stealing a story with one chapter? The author can just abandon it and then the thief doesn't gain anything...

Were you nervous about publishing your story? Not really

What was the outcome of your story? It was more worth it here than on Wattpad, glad that I came here.

How many readers did you get in the first week? I partially forgot, but it's not that much, maybe less than 6?

Were you nervous about your story getting stolen (my story got stolen once >^>)? Not at all

What would you change differently about your story if you could go back in time and re-upload it? That the first time I uploaded it should have been 3 chapters in a row. And maybe edit some illustrations to make it better.

What is your story about and how did you come up with the idea? It's a Modern-time Drama where a "normal" and "simple" girl was later forced to be engaged to a Mafia Underboss. Well, I'm not only focusing on them, but multiple characters as well that are essential to the story.

The idea came to me while I was still writing my fanfic. It was like a holy gift at 3 am, I took a nap and woke up remembering that I was dreaming about Mafia-related stuff. Moreover, I was inspired by one song and was determined to make it. And now, here I am, trying to combine writing and school together for a change.

Should I stop procrastinating and upload my story XD? Yes, procrastinating will take you nowhere, go and upload it.

Hey, this is Ravenian (I made a new account cause I didn't like my old username lol), and yeah I deleted it. I'm really passionate about that project, and I want to make sure it's absolutely perfect. But I did put up another story that I'm working on! :) It's a supernatural/romance novel! If you want you can check that out. c:

Were you nervous about publishing your story?
Yes. I think what you write gives a lot of insight into what kind of person you are. As an introvert, I find it scary.

What was the outcome of your story?
There were a few bad reviews(on RR) but I haven't let it affect me.

How many readers did you get in the first week?
I first published it on webnovel, I think I got around 20 collections. Here I got around ~10, on RR it was ~5.

Were you nervous about your story getting stolen (my story got stolen once >^>)?
Meh. Don't care unless those sites are replacing my name. Otherwise, it's just free publicity.

What would you change differently about your story if you could go back in time and re-upload it?
I read a few books/blogs on novel-writing or writing in general which made me realize some of the mistakes I made. There were lot of info/backstory dumps in the first few chaps, some pov head-hopping, weak language, stylistic errors etc. Not much about the plot that I would like to change other than fixing a few inconsistencies.

What is your story about and how did you come up with the idea?
Check my username. :blob_sir:
On a serious note: I read a lot of cn where MC is supposed to be a sword cultivator, but I always felt they didn't do any justice to the sword. Either MC is already an expert swordsman in his past life(usually he is skilled in everything including the sword in these rebirth/reincarnation novels) or he receives some inheritance and become one sword cultivator...Worse as the MC becomes stronger, the sword itself becomes insignificant. Even if he doesn't use his sword he can simply start using other techniques.
I didn't like what I was reading and so I decided to write my own novel. That's how the Legend of the Sword Immortal was born.

Should I stop procrastinating and upload my story XD?
Yes.
