Oh my word, you're playing into Netflix's hands by even thinking about this. They did it on purpose! They got this Sundance indie foreign film, probably overpaid for it and wanted to make sure people saw it. They knew it was a movie that criticizes the oversexualization of young women and took that to the extreme with the marketing in order to start a Big Conversation, like they always do. Now, everyone in the world knows about this dang movie and it's going to be a huge hit.

I knew it! Netflix wins again because the world is too gullible. The movie is a huge hit and everyone is watching it.

Salute to you comrade. This marks the start of the rebellion.
Rebellion failed. Millions of views. #4 movie in America and it's ranked pretty high in various European countries. Countless reviews, good and bad. It succeeded in what it set out to do, which is earn the revenue from the countless streams it generated. Even people complaining about the movie in various articles still watched it. So that's still more money via stream revenue.

So much for "dem boycotts" XDDD

Dunno. I didn't watch it, so I can't comment either way. Don't even have a Netflix subscription anymore. Just found it funny as hell that so many people bashed it...AFTER WATCHING IT....which kind of made any subsequent boycott's kind of redundant. Netflix made their money. They could care less what's said or happens to the film now.
