It turns out the heroine was in the class since the teacher's usual assistant was on vacation.

thankfully nothing happened, just one of the noble girls tried hiring her.

Ooc z.z)/ Babu too~
Glad that nothing had happened, apart from the nobles trying to hire another noble, I resumed my practice with some other students. The bell then rang, signifying the end to the lesson. We all curtsied the teacher before giving our thanks for her benevolent tutelage before leaving for our next classes. I waved at Angelica and smiled before going through the door and heading to Advanced Economics - a class I was sharing with Isaac.

Her shower was long, and she changed her clothes as quick as she possibly could. Her hair dripped with water, but she didn’t mind. She rushed to her room to grab her school bag and materials. She double checked her schedule to make sure she knew where she was going. She had Adventuring for her first class, followed by lunch, Crafting & Synthesis, and lastly Magic 1.

At the thought of Crafting & Synthesis, she was reminded of the note Veronika left her last night, and then remembered she still needed to fill out the forms for her project. “Oh shoot! I probably need to do that too, and soon.” She looked at the time, and noted she still had thirty or so minutes before she needed.

“I can make it.”

She sprinted out from her room, forgetting once again to lock her door, and made her way to the school building. It didn’t take long, as she asked a passing teacher where the student council room was. If she was lucky, someone would be there. She rushed to the door, albeit a bit out of breath.

“Ex-excuse me, I’m Lisette, I’m here to fill out some forms.” She looked up to see someone sitting at the desk.

@Nahrenne
Lisette was in luck as the Treasurer was still in the room sorting through some stuff when he heard the First Year. He looked her up and down before recalling Veronika's description of Lisette and put the two things together and smiled before giving her the form.

[OOC: Okay, now I'm going to bed. Tessa, I didn't know if you wanted me doing that. I can always delete that interaction when I come back online if you'd rather determine what happened yourself.

"It's fine. I wont hold it against you this time." She pushes her glasses up with her left hand. Her tail curls around her midsection as a few people had run into it already.

"They lost my legistlation. So I had to sleep in the liblaly." She glances over at the now fairly nervous 2nd year.

"I'm Yurei."
"Swir. It's a pleasure."

Whilst she'd spotted the girl a few times in the library before (and probably was spotted in turn as well), it was the first time they'd actually talked. But hey, there's no harm in knowing another frequent user of the library.

"You had to sleep in the library, so...I'm guessing you stuffed everything you own into that bag over there. Bringing that around has gotta suck."

Lisette accepted the paperwork with ease as she looked over the documents. “Thank you! I’m sorry for making you wait! I’ll be sure to turn this in after my classes are over.“ She thanked the treasurer and then looked at the time.

“AH—I need to go to class! I’ll be back Thank you!” She exuberantly replied and made a swift a exit as swiftly as she came. She heard the chuckle behind her as the door shut closed.

[OOC - No, That was perfect, thank you @Nahrenne ! ]

She ran over to the class where Adventuring would be held, and saw a majority of the students already engaged in their groups. Lisette looked in from the doorway, trying to find an empty seat. An inquiring voice came up behind her.

“If you’d take a seat, we can begin on time—?”

Lisette heard the question in his voice. “Uh—Lisette Harper, sir.”

The professor quirked an eye. “Right, Lisette.“

She rushed inside, as it was made apparent she had blocked the door by her previous action. Taking the first seat she could, she heaved a sigh of relief as the professor introduced himself to the class.

"Eh...? Bag?" Yurei looks at the girl in front of her questioningly.
"... My bag was locked in my dolm loom..." Her ears droop as she sighs heavily.
"I am going to go get it aftel I eat."

"...Uh? This isn't yours?"

Swir fished out the offending bag from under the table and wasted no time opening it. Inside was some books, some stationary...she closed the bag.

"Looks like someone's going to be panicking soon...I guess I'll drop this off at the usual place afterwards."

The second cup of coffee disappeared.

"What are you planning to write for your graduation thesis, Yurei?"

"Gladuation thesis... huh... Maybe a magic spell?" Yurei gives it some thought before drinking some of her milk and finishing off the last bit of food on her plate.

"I'm not fully set on it though. I need to actually finish a spell fol it to wolk fol that. Magic... leally is incledible." She downs the rest of her milk even though it hasn't helped her grow bigger like she hoped many years ago...

"... You ale a thild yeal?" She contemplates things for a moment.

"Well, it's only an idea right now, but I'm planning to experiment around with dreams. Second floor of the library, shelf thirty, second row...it's pretty good material to reference."

Swir dipped the biscuit into the coffee, taking small bites of it.

"So unless something else happens, it looks like my thesis will be quite short."

Yurei finishes all the food on her tray and gets up with a stretch. "I still need to get leady fol my day. I will likely see you in the liblaly latel today."

"The one regarding how dreams are the window of the soul? It's a fine read, though something about it suggests fiction...oh well. See you around."

Nursing her last cup of coffee, Swir checked the time. There was enough to slowly enjoy the drink and leisurely make her way to the classroom, so she waved goodbye to Yurei.

Yurei waves as she leaves the cafeteria

Lets see… So a shower, new clothes… some brushing… getting my bag and getting to my potion class… I should have time to get there and time to spare. Not much though. That old badger of a potion teacher will likely try to surprise me though, maybe some elemental ingredients to identify?

“Flostnettle, Umbelvine, Clyobettle eggs”… Yurei continued her thoughts on the way to her dorm, and if uninterrupted showers, changes and gets some brushing in before acquiring her all-important school bag and making her way to her advanced potion making class. “Maybe I’ll get to make the Novice potions this yeal? I’m looking folward to it” With a skip in her step she heads towards her class.

[Tuesday - Thirty Minutes before Curfew]

Lisette finished the last bit of her homework for Magic [Research on flow of energy and how to correlates to the Soul], and Crafting & Synthesis [Make a herbal Tonic]. She had gathered the ingredients for the tonic from the greenhouse, and even had time to return all the filled paperwork to the Student Council Room. All that was left was to wait for that appointed time.

She left her room, and locked her door as instructed. Lisette did well not to tell anyone else her plans and activities later. Walking with purpose, she stood by the entrance to wait for Swir

In an act rather uncharacteristic of her, Swir actually finished a full day of classes from morning to afternoon without sleeping, much to the surprise of...just about every professor whose class she dropped by. One of them even asked her, after class, if she needed to visit the infirmary. She just rolled her eyes inwardly and wished him a good afternoon before heading off to the next one.

Did he think that I was insane or something...? Bah.

It was currently evening, and Swir had enjoyed a good dinner in preparation for the night ahead. It was going to be a long one, and she had to make some preparations; there were various pebbles on her table, along with a few palm-sized slips of paper and some wooden wands. After a moment of consideration, the girl added a coin into the pile as well.

Oh right, there's that...

Wrinkling her nose, she pocketed everything on the table, picked up a tattered notebook, and exited the room. It took her about ten minutes to arrive at where Lisette was waiting.

"Sorry, preparations took longer than I'd expected. Shall we head over to the library?"

Lisette grew a bit antsy when some time had passed, but as soon as Swir showed up, she visibly relaxed. Smiling, the girl nodded her head and looked in the direction of the library. “I brought my bag just in case anyone asks.“ Lisette said hoping it would help add to their cover if they needed it.

“I’m all ready if you are! I can’t wait!” She beamed.

"Alright, let's go. Ah, before that, put this in your pocket."

Swir handed over the coin she'd decided to pack in at the last minute to Lisette, and withdrew one of her pebbles from her left jacket pocket, smiling slightly.

"A little insurance for later in the night."

As they passed the site of the piano music, Swir casually dropped the pebble at the roadside where there were plenty of normal pebbles, then continued walking towards the library. She would do this twice more; once near the greenhouse entrance, and once more near the library entrance. By then, it was already fairly late at night, and not many others were around.

Lisette accepted the coin, looking at both of the sides before doing as she was told. She placed the coin in her pocket and followed Swir around the campus. They passed by most of the buildings they had been to earlier in the day, and the feeling of livelihood seemed more dead comparatively to when it was morning or afternoon.

She looked to Swir, “You mentioned a little insurance for later tonight. Do you think something more will happen?” She was curious, after all she thought it would just play music. And the clocktower did seem quite intriguing the closer they got to the library.

“Have you ever been up there before?” She pointed up the the very old, tall tower that Swir had pointed to previously before. “Not like nighttime or anything, but just visit during the daytime?”

The girl thought about it for a few moments before deciding to tell the truth. After all, if Lisette decided that she'd back out right now, there would still be enough time for Swir to get her back to the dorms. So she spoke, quietly, but with a serious note to her voice.

"As is the case of any place with a rich history...the school grounds are haunted, Lizzy. People have died here before. Of course, the few cases on campus are mostly peaceful ones, caused by old age. The musician whose piano we're going to be hearing is a case of that...and naturally, there are the exceptions. Some of them originate from even before this academy was built---"

Swir glanced towards a nearby bush when it rustled, only to relax seconds later when a black tabby crept out from underneath, and joined the duo. She glared accusingly at it.

"You're quite late, Cath Palug."

"Meow."

The tales Swir told her gave Lisette a solemn expression. Ah, that would make sense. I’ll have to be careful not to be rude then. The girl looked back up to her senior, but before she could say something about it, she noticed how quickly Swir had glanced at a rustling bush.

The first year looked down as well, concerned that it might be a ghost that Swir had just finished telling her about, and saw the black tabby meowing. Lisette smiled. “Aw, hi there cutie!” It wasn’t as if she missed it’s name, but she did kneel down to give it attention if it wanted some.

She held her hand out, waiting for the cat to approach on its own. While waiting, Lisette looked up to her senior companion. “Death—natural and unnatural causes. I suppose that’s why there are certain areas that you advised not to be alone in late at night.” Lisette looked to the grounds then. She wondered what stories the ground could tell even years after they occurred. What stories would she learn from them.

“I’ll do my best to be as respectful as possible, thank you for letting me know. I promise to be on my best behavior!” Lisette saluted with one hand.

"Fufufu, there's no need to be too formal. Most of the time, so long as you don't deliberately antagonize them, they won't harm you. After all, they were, at some point, living human beings. So it's quite like dealing with people who are really old, really transparent, and can float around."

Smiling to lighten the mood, Swir nodded towards the clock tower.

"With regards to your earlier question, I was up there once or twice last summer. The inside of the tower is in disrepair and dusty as all hell, but the old clock still tells accurate time, and the floorboards hold firm, so the Head Librarian's turned part of the lower tower into a storage area. The wooden stairs have rotted away, though, so accessing the top of the tower is a chore. Place is full of spider nests."

She shuddered at that memory. Meanwhile, the cat busied itself, first giving Lisette's outstretched hand a lick, then curiously nudging and sniffing at her ankles.

"...Cath Palug."

Swir's smile twitched a few times visibly.

Tuesday morning periods
Alba stepped on the training ground with a practice bow and arrows in his hand. The equipment that the academy provided to student was in good condition, but he would buy his own bow when he got some money. In the first lesson, the instructor taught students the proper stance and bow grip. Since some students including Alba already knew how to perform a bow shooting, he divided the class and let students who experienced with bow shoot the target in range first for 1 hour. After one hour the group switch and Alba group had to do a stance practising.

His class finished only 5 minutes before the second period start and everyone was still cleaning the training ground and storage room. He could see others running to the next class as the bell already. He snuck into adventuring after Lisette without she realising that he was behind her. The rest of the day was not bad for him.

OOC: 4 hrs straight of lecture :blob_dizzy:

“Understood!” She affirmed with great gusto and became as delighted as she typically would. “I’ll have to tell that to the children back at the orphanage.“ She chuckled, “We had some specters at the graveyard behind the church. I remembered one time seeing a floating Lady with a basket sitting upon a grave marker.“ Lisette also remembered Saint Mother Lucretia reminding her that ghosts are to be treated respectfully as possible. “I just remember she looked so sad.”

So the next morning I tended to her site, cleaned up, placed some new flowers down, and a incense for prayer. I can‘t remember if she came back after that or not. Lisette thought, mostly to herself.

As Swir talked about the clocktower, it became obvious just how out of use it was. For such an amazing building, it definitely could use some sprucing up. “Dust huh? I wonder if there might be a way to repair it. Maybe it’ll help one day.” She smiled, and turned her attention to the cat at her feet.

Lisette giggled when she felt her hand get licked. Haha that tickles. “Is it’s name Cath Palug?” Lisette asked now, looking down at the cat she seemed to be disparaging.
