Her morning shower not only rejuvenated her both mentally and physically, but the water was still hot even after forty minutes of soaking under the rush of the shower. Her shower ritual complete, and transactions for new towels, she dressed in her school uniform designed to fit her. She left the collar open a bit to show off her choker, and extra necklace hanging off her neck, and she rolled up the long sleeved to three quarters down, where her forearms were showing just below the elbow. She wore her traditional leather bands, and aesthectic rings.
Her hair, still damp from shaking the water off with the towel, hung limply over her shoulders and back. She figured it would naturally air dry as the day went on.
When she slipped on her socks and boots, she made her way down to breakfast for a quick bite, enjoying the rush of students as they gorged on their food.
She just got a light snack, as she wasn’t that hungry. It was probably the nerves that did it, and she really didn’t want to be the first year who threw chunks on their first day of school.
Then she was off, her backpack and tools in hand, she went straight to the School Building where all of their classes would be. She looked at her schedule with a keen eye, before nodding. She still had time to make it to her Enchantments class. This was actually something she was excited for, that and her Crafting & Synthesis classes tomorrow. She hoped the homework load would be doable with six classes total between the quarter. She couldn’t imagine adding another one until she knew what exactly she got herself into. And the extra hour in the morning could be used to help set up her future shop or commissions! She would just be sure to keep an ear and eye open for any possible changes.
She entered the class, eyes brimming with excitement as she peered at some of students already there. Ah, I don’t think I see anyone I know yet. Well, it’s still a bit early. There’s time for someone to come. Lisette found a spot in the middle of the class, sort of up close, but not immediately in the front row. In fact, the spot she took was the second row by the window.
