How do you consider an Image to be posted in the story SFW/NSFW?

It's bugging me for sometime. I am planning to post some art in my chapters but I am hesitant if this is under the realm of SFW or NSFW.


How SFW can an image be or how NSFW can a certain image be ?

Example Scenario 1 :

A girl just lying down on bed with nothing but camisole and a blanket below. Chests are defined but not exposed.




Example Scenario 2:

A girl just lying down on bed with nothing but camisole and a underwear. Still same defined chest but more exposed skin (belly part).



Example Scenario 3:

A girl just lying down on bed with nothing but camisole and a underwear. Still same defined chest and exposed belly, but One leg propped up. ( implied or not)

From my understanding..... like fanservice type of content : non full exposure of say breasts are generally considered OK. Perhaps, option 3 is just quite on the verge of not okay.

Are not.
Saucy / suggestive / fan service images are not allowed anywhere on the site, especially inside chapters. Even more exposed cleavage is often removed (sometimes with the story itself).

You can write basically anything that is not outright illegal, but images are heavily "sanctioned."

You should assume "yes," as it goes for "excessive skin being shown," and AI overlords that look at those images dislike it. Even clothes in skin color can trigger it.
Can always apply for manual evaluation after removal, but ehh... better safe than sorry, and just don't add them at all.

If you have to ask around if it's safe, it's quicker to assume it's not safe. So, to save yourself some trouble, put a small censor like the Divine LightTM or a slight blur on parts you think might trigger a removal.

After that, tell your readers you can get the uncensored version in your Discord to get more foot traffic there

You can post it on twitter (or any other third party) and link it in your chapter. No need to censor anything if you use third party to host.

That's wrong. Direct linking to those (porn/saucy/suggestive, or otherwise banned) media is the same as posting them; not allowed.
True, detection in this case is not instant, but the moment admins notice it can be a straight account ban, or at the very least story deletion.

But yeah, no need to bait him any more, people. He'll get banned pretty fast with this lack of understanding the basic rules, especially after being told multiple times to not do it but still searching for ways to do it anyway.

Since when? If you state that it is suggestive/nsfw and redirect to another site for art then it wouldn't break the rules. The rules for art haven't changed very much from the start and when I asked Tony directly he answered me with yes, no direct posting nsfw art on SH, but if I redirect my readers to other sites it's fine.

Soc med links aren't embedded, they stay as links so posting them is no issue.

If you can't post a link to twitter/bsky/deviantArt/privatter to your nsfw art content then SH is more prudish than Chinese platforms.

As much as I reread the rules stated in the link, it didn't specify if direct links to third party sites for nsfw art is illegal. so yeah I am confused , not unless you are a mod who knows the rules well.

Also... if the images are linked in ko-fi.... then is it illegal to put my ko-fi page even though the site allows ?

If it came directly from Tony the owner himself, then I know who to believe.
