Writing Prompt Ideas for Future Stories!

[MC-Stories]

Here are some ideas I have rattling about in my skull, which one do you think I should go for:

Monsoon Apocolypse: The power of Water or the power of Earth, powers that two sisters have awakened, the MC chooses Water, while the spoiled sister choose Earth, unaware of the physical toll it takes on a person, jealous of her Waterbending sister, the spoiled one kills her by burying her alive, but the MC returns to the day she and her sister awaken their powers, but the spoliled one does as well and chooses the Water Element, but we all know how these stories end, will the MC come out on top or be another victim of the Monsoon Appocolypse?

Neo Eden High: follow the Tale of Ronnie, a girl with the weirdest superpower ever, the ability use powers from any Video Games she's played, one thing though, she's played and beaten over 400 video games, with these powers could she rise through the ranks in the ultimate Superhero school where strength is everything?

First one sound kinda meh, not to my tastes. Second one though...that has potential. Only if the reader can tell what games are being references. Like Elden Ring becomes Olden Circle, Super Mario becomes Duper Lario, Final Fantasy becomes Last Daydream ect.

Its only fun if the reader knows whats being referenced. And youd of course, have to lean into the comedy and the downsides of each game as well!

The latter is more likely to do numbers on SH/RR, imo. The first one, I think, has more room for character work.

If you're just trying to write out your daydreams and get an audience, I think you're better off doing the latter. The former would provide more opportunities to develop your skills.
