Is this the novel you want to be in the latest category? If it is, it's too late for that.

The latest category only exists for novels that have just began serialization. Your novel has been going for a while, and so, it's had its run in that category already.

Edit: And if you meant latest update and I misunderstood, then just posting the chapter should have it show up there, but it won't last long on the frontpage since stuff is being constantly posted.

1) Make sure the story is within the content guidelines of the site. You'll see that when you upload your work.

Hot item nowadays if it is translation (forbidden) or fanfic (don't monetize). Translation will result in a purge.

2) The stories are manually approved by the single admin, Tony. Can take hour or days, depending on his speed, and can also get buried in the sea of new works that got similarly delayed in approval.

3) If you're talking about appearing in the list with new releases, your newest chapter is uploaded 2 hours ago. New chapter releases often get buried under 15 minutes after release.

4) There is also that problem where you published the chapter long ago, took it down sometime in between, edited it, and re-published it. In this case, it won't appear in Newest Chapter Releases.

Okaaaaaaay, so... I don't care if this is original work or not, because I can't judge that, but I just realized the Account "Dani007" has been banned and above the first chapter, you can see that it's mentioned, that it's been reuploaded, so the first chapters have been "lost". Don't know what that means, because OP here states that it's a translation of an original novel (which is fair enough, I recently asked if it was also not allowed to post one of my older stories here, if I translate them, since I simply didn't write English stories around 10 years ago, and they said it's fine) so I guess it was written in an nother language and the translation didn't have any backup? I'm confused.
Also, how come it has that many likes? And I don't mean to say that because I don't get as many hearts on chapters, but that it's just really disproportional. And then it only has two comments, coming from one and the same person, who has no other books on their reading list and never made another comment, as it seems.
Not actually making any claims, just stating observations that I believe don't really track (the likes might be fine, but what's with that comment ratio? lol).

If I was a sceptical man, I'd say this looks kinda sus.

But I am not a sceptical man. I'm, in fact, a chupacabra.

It usually take trending #1, 1K readers and 4k chapter views to get that many likes.

Most SH authors are casual hobbyists who only write for fun and don't care about numbers. Number manipulations are bad habit WN and RR tourists bring here with their competitive mindset.

They think more numbers mean more visibility. This is true from where they come from. But not in SH.

In SH, you can't even see a story's views, ratings, likes, and readers count in the latest updates. They don't matter. Trending is the same with only ratings as addition.

Thats what i really love about SH. I feel every story gets a chance and every uploaded chapter gets your stuff atleast some traction. Thats great. Aaaalso, the forum is way more to my liking!
