Feels kinda sketchy though, since I saw the webnovel(qidan) logo on their email.

This kind of contract usually prevent you to publish on your own right? And isn't it make you unable to make a subscribing platform like Patreon/Subscribestar?

Yeah I’d stick with people with more proven track records. I know they’re a bit of a megacorp but Amazon does have kindle and audible and several of my favorite writers who either started here or on Royalroad have had a lot of success with them.

This actually depends on the contract, make sure to read it (or) have an AI interpret it (or better yet) consult a lawyer

Yeah, the blog post is like 5 years old, so they would have changed up some of their paperwork. But it's good to know what they did in the past.

They once reached out to me, but I found it suspicious since I had changed the name and deleted the book from where I published it like a week before.
