I just noticed I made a ridiculous mistake

I was just looking through my chapters and noticed in the first 3 chapters, I used first person, then on the fourth chapter, I switched to third person. Time to go through my writing and fix it all

*wince* It's great that you realized that! I've read books from veteran published authors who continue to make that mistake and it's disappointing!

Princess Rosalynd's eyes are light green.

Twice I described them as dark green. I hate when I do that.
Then I have Ranía wearing a blue dress at the end of one chapter, and at the beginning of the next chapter it's white.

What's the most embarrassing mistake you've made and published?

Not exactly published, but when I finished my first 90k word novel, I sent it into a beta reader because I was too excited and knew they'd love it as much as I did. Their response was telling me that I genuinely wrote a sixth grader (but a very enthusiastic one), and all my dialogue which I thought was a strong suit, was trying way too hard to sound philosophical. I've spent years working on my writing since then, and can confidently say I'm now at least at an eighth grade level.
