Ouran host club? FMC so reverse harem. And it’s a rom-com. I wouldn’t call it good but it’s okay if a little cliche.
I have already watched Ouran Host club. I don’t like reverse harem but I kept watching due to the bl tropes :blob_evil_two:

Btw, I started watching Love Through a Prism because of the splendid animation. Has anyine else watched that series?

It's not adventure or particularly actiony, but it's criminal that nobody has mentioned The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity

some animes to watch in my free time

Lets see...

  • The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague
It's been a few years but it's one of the few not-sappy romances that worked well and isn't just about kids, which is a plus, pretty sure I was also happy that they didn't go for constant and annoying misunderstandings too.
Just low conflict, workplace adults, no drama or rom-com misunderstanding awkwardness, just 12 episodes of their interactions slowly bringing them together.

  • Flying Witch
This one is a REALLY slow burn slice of life. If you think you know slow paced slice of life, this one will beat those. I've had single episodes feel like 3 episodes because of how slow the thing is. Extremely mundane, almost no conflicts.
It's like you take a single scene from a normal anime, and made that the entire episode for what the pacing is like, it doesn't feel the need to scream about ghosts and witches as being 'unique' it just lets its whole setting relax.

Technically this is why the slice of life sub-genre 'Iyashikei'/'healing' exists, but hasn't been pulled over to western media as efficiently, Flying Witch is the best example of that I think.

I could suggest a bunch of things but they'd probably be more outside of the genres being asked about, and these two are lesser known hits as far as I'm concerned, hope you find something you like from the thread though :blob_cookie:

You might like Toradora. iirc, there might be something of a love triangle (unrequited affection from one char to the male lead), but that's just drama for the central romantic arc, not harem bait.

I think I was pretty much always stuck in a loop of wanting someone like the FL, or wanting to be the FL. I'd take both honestly making for a really chill relationship. :meowsip:
While I can enjoy a lot of normal anime, theres just something good behind it not being 'tension for the sake of it'.

I really need to find time to go for more iyashikei anime, theres a handful but they don't always end up marketed as it, and sometimes rely on tropes which can remove some of the 'slowness' from them.

I think Yuru Camp, ARIA, Non Non Biyori were a few others but I'd have to refresh myself on those.
Woke up with a massive neck pain, so even the first two suggestions a bit ago took me an hour to process due to brain lag.

Is it the one with the midget FL?

I loved the FL's personality, especially because I hate (most) tsunderes in animes.
I thought it was an abbreviation lol.
But I like the animation style. So, will give it a try :blob_paint:

As the title suggests, I'm looking for some animes to watch in my free time.

What I'm looking for:

>Genre: Rom-com/ Romance/ Comedy/ SoL/ Adventure (is that a genre? Idk)

>Must not have a pervy MC.

>Not harem, reverse Harem

Thanks in advance.
  1. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (perfect match)
  2. TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You (romcom)
  3. Tada Never Falls in Love (romcom)
  4. Spice and Wolf (romance adventure)
  5. Snow White with the Red Hair (romance adventure)
  6. Inuyasha (and every other work by the author Rumiko Takahashi; she is a legend for rom-coms) (perfect match)
  7. Yona of the Dawn (romance adventure)

For now all I can think of is....
- Your Name (Movie...the MC is not really perv kinda you might feel it in the start but later it's peak Romance movie)
- Sword Art Online (Series...It's not a harem but has harem elements like girls fall for MC but he is focus on one and only one...its a minor adventure, major fantasy-isekai kinda) only season 1 recommended.
- Blue Box ( extremely good...romance, SoL, sports and not a harem, not perv)
- Horimiya (Rom-com,SoL...not perv MC and not Harem)

If you want movie - Your Name
If you want Comedy - Horimiya
If you want Romace with confusion like who to ship and all - Blue Box
If you want Action - SAO(Season1)
I'm watching blue box now and holy peak

Well, if we are going to start recommending those that look like harem but aren't: My Charms Are Wasted On Kuroiwa Medaka

People think it's harem just because it seems to revolve around the guy. But the story is about Mona Kawai trying to get him to acknowledge her. The story is about her, she is the MC, ain't no chance the others even have a chance.
