Details about schedule chapters on Mobile.
- First and foremost, I know there are threads about scheduling chapters around the forums but it seems to be hidden by the plenty of threads around the forum, so I'll make a quick guide as to how to use it for the newer authors here.(specifically for mobile but it should work for desktop as well).
Let us first know what are the important details we need to know about the scheduler.
• The first and only detail we need to know, is what timezone it uses?
× The schedule chapter function uses the timezone that you have selected on your profile page. For example:
√ Okay, well now that is done, let us get to the actual part in which we schedule a chapter.
× The first step to schedule a chapter, is to create a new draft (it should work the same with editing draft)
× After you have finished creating a new draft, you will then press the small EDIT button next to "Published:"
× Once you press it, you should have several item boxes in which you select the time when you want the chapter to publish.
× Once that is done, you press OK before the Publish button turns into a SCHEDULE button and pressing it (of course, once the contents of the chapter is already pasted).
× Once you have pressed the schedule button, it should show a success message and on the Table of Contents, the chapter should show up like this.
√ And you are done, and also, if you want to edit parts of the chapter, you can do it normally, without worries.
- Well then, if you have any extra information about this specific function then please do tell!
× The only reason why I made this one was because I was quite disappointed that my chapter awhile ago when I realized my chapter wasn't actually scheduled.
