Opening this thread caused my iPad to overheat and lag to the point I couldn’t comment or see more than one response at a time. Here is the thread. https://forum.scribblehub.com/threads/gold-bank.27183/ Wait a sec and I will take a screenshot of my devices specs and the like.

Nothing wrong with that thread, apart from having some quite heavy graphics.
Works fine on my end, both mobile and stationary machines.

Try clearing the browser cache, but doubtful that it will help, as it probably has too little RAM to properly load all images from there. That's why it lags, as it needs to preload everything each time you scroll.

His model is apparently a budget 2025 model with 6G RAM, it shouldn't be that.

And that RAM is shared with GPU, so in reality there is much less of it. And if we include OS and app usage, usable RAM is around 2GB. And this is very little for today. Easily exhausted by browsers displaying pages full of heavy images, as this forum is not serving lightweight thumbnails but original images, unless selected as such by the poster.

Not saying this is the definitive cause, but it is highly probable. If this were the forum itself, a lot more people would notice.

My budget phone from a similar time period that costs 1/4 of the ipads price and my 12 year old netbook didnt have any issues.

He can take the SHF potato test by going to https://www.scribblehub.com/profile/148927/navillus/ and checking out their reading list.

Edit: the old netbooks stats :blobrofl: :blobrofl: :blobrofl: :blobrofl:

Nice potat.
Guess the biggest difference here is the browser being used.
Or perhaps it's Apple being Apple and throttling the device just because. Happened quite often.
