Just broke 100 readers overall. Finally in the triple digits now, and I wouldn't have gotten here without those of you who've taken the time to add my stories to your reading lists.
This is the first real milestone in my career as an author.
I'm grateful for everything, and everyone, who has been a part of this success so far.
Admittedly, this is more than I had ever expected to achieve, especially in such a few short months.

This, however, is still only the beginning.
Onwards and Upwards, as they say.
Or, in other words... Back to the grind.

hitting a milestone is significant. mine was to just have some readers. now I guess having 100 would be my next one too. you can't put a price on the feeling, and normies never understand. to a normie, anything you can't spend has no value. But to us, these things are priceless. no amount of money can compel a reader, to read us.

Not like *anyone* wouldn't enjoy financial success, I mean dial 1-800-come-on-now. But still, I believe its really about the thrill of doing something people say "it can't be done", and yet you begin to make inroads to doing it. OP is at 100. I'm at 50. Its a rush.

yeah. I hope I look good wearing green, lol. Because OP is 100, I'm only 50. Twice as many! Money? Please... on another site, they "pay" us for clicks we generate. My "account" I finally discovered exists, and I checked. Yeah. I have every bit of three dollars, and eleven cents in it. LMAO. trust me, if all this work was for the money, I'd just go get a part time job at a gas station. I've *yet* to buy a pack of name brand smokes from writing. And its still a rush.

But it's fine. They can read for free.

That's so true. Even the smallest milestones are marks of significant forward progress, and the feeling of accomplishment that accompanies achieving them can't easily be put into words. For me, I guess the next would be whichever of my stories reaches 50 individual readers first, or the next 50 readers overall. Both are a ways off yet, but worth chasing.
