Your opinion about the Cultivation Novel/Comic/Donghua

I have read and watched several popular Cultivation series such as Renegade Immortal or Record Mortal Journey to Immortality.

I think they are one of the many good Cultivation series out there.

But what I want to ask is, what do you think if the MC really started everything from 0 and without any external or internal help? And the MC actually survives and struggles to move forward in the cruel world of Cultivation?

I would like to ask for your opinions, suggestions or input for inspiration for the novel I will write.

MCs who truly start everything from 0, without any external help like Han Li from RMJI who has a magic green bottle, Or Wang Lin from Renegade Immortal who has the Heaven Defying Pearl, Or Xiao Yan from BTTH who has a great teacher, or most of the MCs who are great and powerful figures who died and then reincarnated as losers in the fan world.

Not a strong person reincarnated as a loser, not an heir who has a great teacher, and not getting an ancient inheritance from the start, But truly from 0, without any ancient heritage, not a reincarnated strong person, without a teacher, without anything, Purely from 0 or even minus, With trash spiritual roots destined to be unable to cultivate, And really have nothing, not even family, or anything.

Needs good writing skills but would love to read one story like this. But the thing is, unless the person is reincarnated, starting from 0 without guidance and reaching the absolute top relies a lot of time, effort, and a freak combination of coincidences in favor of MC.

If you tell someone to play through a game for the first time without basic key instructions it will take considerably more time than the second run. It might get frustrating for the reader when most of the time the MC is walking like a headless fly. At the same time it reads so fake when they „happen“ to take the right choice every single time.

almost all of Er Gen works is a masterpiece; that's the irrefutable fact. one of my personal fave would be ISSTH. I didn't read his other works but almost those who read it said they're great.
