Hello,

Sorry if this should be in a different board, I'm not familiar with the forum. Anyways, the ban wave removed a story that I had a comment on but the comment still appears (and clutters) my profile. That bugs my fool head. Is there any way to remove it now?

Thanks,

Good question. I don't believe there is a way you could, but I do believe sending an email may eventually get Tony to check it out?

Can't as the books are still in the database (that's why they could be restored and why the authors can access them). The moment they are gone-gone, your comment will be too. Your alternative is to tell the author to go in and delete your comment, as authors have the power to remove comments under their stories, and they can still access their books.

May I know what the ban wave was about?
As I understand it, it was a large scale enforcement of the "No translations" rule, mostly due to the huge influx of translated Chinese novels that have been clogging all the feeds for months. Also, most translations are usually done without author consent, so it's basically stealing their IP, usually for profit.

How did they find different between original and translation though? I don’t think moderators will read every series in person. :blob_hmm:

Users used google and found the original and reported them.

That's my definition of a scalper.
