Hi I am an avid reader of scribble-hub and want to write a story I have 3 in mind with stage 1 progression in all of them or general outline so to say but don’t know which one to start and was hoping to get some help on what would be more interesting to you guys?
Story 1
sword and magic
No regression or transmigration
Main character starts in a barony as the son of a noble who used to be a knight it is a world of levels with some classism and the level scale is mitigated
Max level for skills 10
Max level for character 100
Max level for profession 100
Many sub professions for example someone can have 20 levels in alchemist and 10 in botonist
You gain one general skill every 2 levels passive/active
Every 5 levels you gain a major profession skill like a branch path or hyper focus
Example warrior A has his major skills focused on speed attacks/dashes Warrior B major skills focus on heavy attacks/defense
Main character wields a weapon (spoilers won’t tell)
Skill level comparison 1-3 beginners 60% can get in a few years
4-6 veterans 25% masters of guilds or workshops require many years or unique experience to upgrade
7-9 10% can get think arch wizard or sword saint level 10 figures of legends or mythical creatures
There will be dragons (need to figure out dragon scale)

Story 2
VRMMORPG
Gender bender
Stat panel dive gear all that jazz you know it, read it, dream it being real
Male lead in urban world with decent life structure (single dog) enters the game world 6 months after major release
Can only choose matching gender avatar to start
Goes through basic leveling journey with a little better stats
After leaving the tutorial village he’s kidnapped by dark mages and gets avatar cursed (0:) trying to get uncursed through fun yet perilous journey dies a bit this advancing curse and later gets purified and turns into a permanent effect that makes him allowed to only wear ladies cloths have a 4 dress journey storyline lots of complaints/sass some buddy companions. He gets set effects When fully eqipped clothes plus accessories (keeps getting mistaken as female) unique questline (somewhat plausible grab)
Realistic combat formula!
Example you cut off a limb they get heavy bleeding and impaired stays effects!
cut off their head decapitation dmg bonus! Plus exp (I make it hard to do)
Status formula
Profession ratings
Basic (1-3) attributes per level warrior, archer, mage etc
Variant (4-6) attributes per level Heavy warrior, scout, apprentice mage
Elite (7-10) attributes per level juggernaut, tamer, elemental mage
Unique (10-15) attributes per lvl champion beast master, summoner wizard
Legendary (16-25) attributes per level sword saint, mythical tamer, primordial wizard
These are free attributes you get plus half fixed per level
There will be dragons as well in this one (I love dragons bite me)

story 3
Possession/mmo
The main character is a masked male villain he creates a code of conduct and evil (aren’t they the best villains!) it’s based in a urban hero’s vs villains game where the players pick which side to choose and create one special ability the main lead will create his character he will also choose a character background bonus (think D&D) after entering the game he will go through quests and lore but something unexpected happens causing him and his character to merge fusing their personalities (got a twist for this one) and then we will go through an power building arc and n then organization building arc. I’m thinking of maybe making his personality half switch? For example one day he leans more towards his original side and then leans towards his characters side. He will be smart, manipulative, help both hero’s and villains but above all else he is his code and his code is him. (Leaving a lot out for mystery)

these are the 3 story’s I got just needs to flesh them out but don’t know how to choose, these are inspired from many books I’ve read over the years. My life is starting to get busy so in my free time I’ll work on the chapters until I have a good base and I’ve also written a oneshot in RR burning houses to give you a glimpse of my writing style! (It’s old so I’m shy don’t be too harsh!)

Any tips or tricks would be very helpful!

Why don't you just write them all instead of asking here? I mean, this forum isn't the ideal place to ask such questions, mainly because almost all who interact here are authors. Readers rarely come here, though they loiter in the main site's lobby.

Now if you're going to say, "I can't write them all at the same time!" Just write what interests you at the moment. It is also difficult to write something you didn't decide wholeheartedly because the time will come when you'll get tired of doing it. And when that time comes, only your determination to finish will remain.

Tis also can be an advantage to have multiple stories because if you get tired of one, you can just switch to another.

Go with the third story. question can the person actually die or is it basically a videogame. I think it only matters. If the person actually can die or be hurt. and if you put women in it and he gets a harum make it realistic.

For the third story he would only have one life after his possession before that though yes it would be video game revives

3rd Story. Because it's painfully obvious that it's more developed and you seem to have put some mind on its future plot development instead of just giving it a perfunctory premise to then fully fixating on the system

Why choose? Why not all of them?

I see no reason why sword, magic gender bending mmo have to be mutually exclusive

I have built them all into their own separate world build one is a pure fantasy word then it’s 2 mmo
Write a chapter or two of each and see which feels more "natural" to you.
Hmm I will try it out and see how it goes thank you!

Thank you! I didn’t put too much detail into the world because I didn’t want to give everything away because if I shared more it out it would obvious

My own opinion here is that you can write the three of them, since you have ideas of what you to put down about them. You can start with the first one, set a goal, time to commit to it during the day or week along with a timeline to finish the first story. Journey of a thousands mile begins with a step, and I think you should be able to meet up with my few suggestion.

The 3rd story has been chosen! Thank you, everyone, for all the help with picking which one to start. I will work on the other stories as well on a later date. I will start working on the very first chapter and try to post it later this week! I hope I can get some more feedback then as well. ?‍♂️
