Took me about 3 months, but I finished writing a book! My first ever book. I've always enjoyed reading books, and thought I'd try writing one during the school holidays. But when school started, it was difficult trying to balance homework and studying and all that with writing.
I didn't mean for the book to be grimdark - but that was what the reality in this world I was writing about demanded. I wanted to write those classic progression fantasy - a bit slow, with character development and such.
Anyways, it hasn't garnered much attention on royal road or on here, but that's okay. I'm taking a small break from writing for a while, though.
This has been quite a journey. Not that most exciting, nor the most fun - it was even depressing at times. But I did it, it's an accomplishment and I hope that anyone who finds my book enjoys it.
