Chinese harem story but:

"Is the harem for Emperor or the Empress? Why do the beauties flirt so much with the Empress?"

"Aren't women in the harem supposed to be vying for the Emperor's favour? Why are they surrounding the Empress like bees around flowers?"

"I know the Grand Empress secretly teach the Empress martial art but why do I get the vibe of forbidden love between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law?"



If no one had tried this, I will take it for myself.

Ever watched Netflix's Marco Polo? There's a subplot like that in there.

To be clear: There's a subtle subplot in the Marco Polo series where some women in the Khan's harem show intimate affection toward each other, and a character name Chabi, well, the interactions with one of them carry a clearly suggestive, almost flirtatious tone. It's not a full-on harem for the Empress, but it's kind of in that vein.

Yeah, I knew that... took me a moment to consider this. So, benefit of the doubt in that this isn't a fantasy of yours, I want to believe you are suggesting this to prove that no AI would've written that sort of girl's harem story because of how unhinged it would be. Back to the thread topic… I personally haven’t seen a story like this, but it’s definitely funny and cute haha.

I watched a C-drama called Story of Yanxi Palace. The FL entered as a palace maid seeking revenge for her murdered sister. She then became assigned to the Empress’ side as one of her personal attendants. She’s supposed to be romancing a general (younger brother of empress) and then later the emperor… but let’s just say there was a LOT of tension between her and the Empress. ?

Not to mention, there was a rumor spread by a malicious concubine that the Empress and her best friend, another concubine, potentially have an affair together.

You can totally write a story like that.
