So below is a explanation to explain a person's superpower aka Temporal Acceleration (like Chase in Dispatch) and how his strength is still low despite moving so fast.

Jack isn't a strong person, his superspeed isn't like how Wu Kang's monstrous body works; via using his huge powerful muscles to punch through the now fluid-like air with insane forces and generating sonic booms with every step and swing of his fist.

Jack's power is Temporal Acceleration and all it does is make himself faster by speeding his time up. He can dodge bullets fired at him, he can send rapid volleys of punches and kicks much faster than the muscular oaf but the perculiar thing is that these supersonic attacks aren't making any cloud rings. In fact, strength is always Jack's major weakness as he could hit fast but the blows he dished out is at best prime Tyson. But when up againsting monsters like Wu Kang? It's laughable.

To me, that ability sounds off

If you sped time up for yourself, that means time would pass faster for you than for others, thus you would actually be standing still while everyone else moves around.

Time should be more of a concept; chrono abilities usually slow time down for everyone but the user, but allow the user to operate normally in the slowed-down environment. To the observer, you are sped up.

Also, the amount of force your punches would apply would increase exponentially depending how much time has slowed down.

If you can slow time to the point you can dodge a bullet, say from a AK-47 from ten feet away... you would need to be able to move about 470 ft/s to move away from it in time.

so if you can move at that kind of speeds your average punch hits from 27 ft/s to 470 ft/s which is 17 times faster. ...doing some napkin math and a calculator I found online, you would be landing punches with 170 000 lbs of force as an 200 pound person,

Aint superpowers fun!

It sounds like "May I Ask For One Final Thing?" Chronos-power.
I did not know she has that ability, but yes.

Yeah, I'm trying to use Chase from Dispatch as an example.

His power is that he moves faster than others but also ages faster than them too.

What I wanted to add is the sped up motion does not make the guy hit harder or become physically stronger, like Flash's infinity speed punch.

It's sort of a handicap for the power.

Plot twist: he didn't actually speed up nor people slow down. He actually have a powerful brainwashing ability that transcends barriers and work specifically on people's perception of time.

gotcha...

long as you dont want to worry too much about physics then your idea is fine... maybe he becomes lighter when he uses his ability as a side effect... /shrug

That's Rolo Lamperouge

I guess give him some pocket sand or crushed glass to rub in the eyes of people. Get more tacticle with how to use it.
Yes, that's a good idea. So far, the dude is using limestone powder to cosplay the infamous Limestone Powder (Omnipresent) God of War

Yeah, actually, the power came from Bullet Time (where Jack can dodge bullets) and allows him to keep himself in an accelerated state. I think it is at here that physics is out the window because for someone to "dodge" bullets at an arm's reach, subsonic speed is necessary and air will become fluid (resistive), yet neither does the Matrix agents and Neo having that issue.

Then again, Matrix can let people ignore gravity and Newton's Third Law (limbs don't break)

yeah... something about 110000 lbs of lateral g-forces really puts some strain on gotta go fast physics...

My MC has implants that let him slow time down, but that is litterally just enough to adjust his aim and pull a hair trigger. No Neo acrobatics lol

It really isn't, though... it's something to find workarounds for, not breaking...
I will break them so hard. I break everything I touch. With these big strong hooves. BIG STRONGE HOOVES! MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Huh, isnt matrix a simulation?
