Yeah, most readers don't bother with the Author section ;)

This reads a little like Main Character Syndrome.

Well, I don't really want to be chatty. But thread categories are provided to accommodate your needs. One or two threads in the wrong category are tolerable. But if it continues, it'll get messy.

Perhaps it's better not to reply to threads in the wrong category until the thread creator has assigned it to the correct category.

it's theoretically in the right category, just that it will unlikely reach his readers who need to read this announcement

and only mods can move/delete threads

Sorry, I disagree. There's the Readers category then the Latest Chapter Discussion subcategory. This thread should be placed in that subcategory.

Also, my slight rant is because the other three previous threads are in the wrong place—they should be placed in the Story Feedback subcategory, instead of the Author General.

Sorry for the delay in my last chapter. Pc was out. Had to get a whole new motherboard. Last chapter of book one of Isekai: How I Became A Foxgirl will post tomorrow at 6:30 CST.
While this is a good way to announce/explain your predicament, do note that your real fans will understand you as long as you're consistent with your writing. And by consistent, I mean that even when it takes you months to update a single chapter, you make it done.
