So, for my fun and training novel, this is going to be the power system which was inspired by game development (I take game development classes).
I believe that this power system is simple, but it could be extremely diverse and versatile in how it could be used.
What we thinking, what we thinking?

[Magic System: Scared Runes, Sigils, and Seals]
Sacred Runes, Sigils, and Seals are all channels of magic, they serve as a direct connection to the Avor, a pocket dimension of infinite knowledge, mysticism, and mana in its purest form and to use said magic, the correct sign is needed
[Types]
(Inspired by Add Ons) Sacred Runes — Runes draw from the Mysticism of Avor, the language of the gods that were given to the mortals by the gods, each rune attaching itself to a concept and needing to be written on Black Stone called Obsidian of Accord, as such, when the rune is given enough pressure, it activates

Strengths
  • Extremely powerful
  • Reliable
  • Immune to manipulation or counter-spells
Weaknesses
  • Inflexible
  • Dangerous to transport
  • Rare materials
  • Limited quantity
(Inspired by Commands) Sigils — Sigils draw from the Knowledge of Avor, symbols of magic that were created by alchemists, artists, and mathematicians, which involves setting up magical circles or transmutation circles, capable of doing Alchemy, capable of Matter transformation, Enchantment, Energy conversion, yet is bound by Equivalent exchange

Strengths
  • Highly flexible
  • Can evolve over time
  • Allows innovation
Weaknesses
  • Time-consuming
  • Requires deep education
  • Susceptible to disruption
  • Less raw power than runes
(Inspired by JavaScripts) Seals — Seals harness the Mana of Avor, being powerful bond of mana, being a closed system that locks mana into a behavior, as the one who creates it can set the Conditions, Triggers, Effects, and Termination clauses
Seals are remote chain that can, activate other magic, suppress spells, store mana, bind entities, and enforce oaths

Strengths
  • Absolute reliability
  • Can’t be overridden easily
  • Allows delayed or remote magic
  • Excellent for traps, laws, and safeguards
Weaknesses
  • Limited by initial programming
  • Cannot adapt
  • Dangerous if poorly written
  • Breaking a Seal causes violent mana backlash

Example of Use
Rune of Fire, Transmutation Circle, and Seal of activation
When Rune of Fire is activated, the Seal of Activation is activated, which holds the command to order to transmutation circle to transmute the floor into a tall spike.

Simple, but can be versatile, right?

At face value, it does look simple, and if executed correctly could indeed be diverse. It's actually a pretty interesting twist, compared to the usual magic systems.

The strengths & weaknesses are good. They clearly give you an idea of who might use them and for what.

When Rune of Fire is activated, the Seal of Activation is activated, which holds the command to order to transmutation circle to transmute the floor into a tall spike.

This a bit vague in my opinion. A rune relies on a seal, which then orders a transmutation circle?
Wouldn't that make seals and sigils subcategories of runes rather than things that can be used on their own?

What defines an equivalent exchange? Is it the user's stamina, the Obsidian of Accord, or the environment?

If you're going for a softer magic system, those questions don't really need answers. But if you want something harder, it would help knowing them.

For the first question, no. They do not require each other, but they can help each other. A rune can act on its own, but with a seal, you can 'attach it' to the circle if you are far away, like a in games, if you step on a tile (Rune), the code (Seal) activates the door to open (Transmutation Circle)

Equivalent Exchange depends on what is being transmutated. Similar to how Full Metal Alchemist works, you can only make a spear as long as how much ground you are sucking up, or you can only transmute an object into something else if the mass and weight are equal to this object you want to turn it into.
