So, last week I did the more "Action-oriented" openings that many think about. This week, I'm tackling openings for stories where things start off mundane for the protagonist and it becomes more grand as things go on.

I've never had it? I heard it isn't easy to eat. Plus it carries trichinosis, which is a parasite I'd rather not get.

(I know a lot about bears. They terrify me.)
