Unsolicited Offers - Author-Nim How do you deal with it?

I'm constantly receiving unsolicited offers and I'm polite but firm in my rejections. I have initially responded because I can't be sure it's not a genuine reader (without spending time investigating their profile). As I was politely rejecting one today, the tone of their previous message made me have the thought - what if this person retaliates? Whatevah shall ah do? *Puts hand to forehead and sinks onto fainting couch*
I should note that I generally can tell if it's an offer on the first contact, but some are sneaky.

My questions are:

1. How do the other lovely authors on here deal with these unsolicited offers? Do you ignore it (but what if it's a reader?!), respond or report? (Funny and creative approaches to this problem also appreciated! ).

2. Have you ever had someone 'take revenge*' and how did you deal with it?

*Leaving a negative review, reporting, low rating etc...Is this a valid concern or am I being paranoid?

Just ignore it. They prey on any new works that get posted.

Or you can toy with them... they dont seem to review bomb anything from what I can tell...

Just dont chat elsewhere, insist on talking on SH, that way if they do review bomb you, well you now have proof that it was just a malicious review.

Ignore them.

Spammer that spam offers to make money, they dont have time for revenge or to write a troll reviews, that takes time, trolls are usually people that have nothing else going on in their empty lives.

"Offer" spammers, it's their job.

And the spammers knows the game, they spam so much i doubt they remember anyone that didnt reply to them.

I ignore them.

Learned to ignore them.

Negative reviews and low ratings hurt and may seem unfair to us, but it is what it is. If you can't take the heat in the meantime, you can always take a break and avoid looking at your story stats. But don't make my mistake of taking those down; turn a deaf ear, and just keep on improving your work.

It's actually very simple.

If they send you a Personal message praising your 'work' without mentioning it, It's title, character names or any other details, they are conning you.

Feel free to abusively reply, just as if you caught someone trying to break into your car with a slim-jim.

I find out where they live, move in near them, romance them extensively until i or them propose marriage, then i abandon them callously. That'll teach em to mess with me

Send them malwares- Ahem I mean either ignore them or decline thier offer.

I just ask if they are a bot if they are too kind. They usually ends things after that
