Anyone has a short story they wanna share? Can be an unpublished if you want. I know you guys keep many of your stories away from sunlight, because I do that too. Genres can be anything, I'm that starved.

Will read it. The first journal is quite long, but I enjoy your vocabulary. I'll read it slowly.

Finished reading it. An interesting take on isekai. It makes me wonder if anyone has the willpower to do the opposite thing when put in MC's place.

Just finished it. It's interesting because there are still mysterious around them that haven't been answered clearly yet, but I see that it doesn't really matter. Cause at that moment, the only important thing is love!

Not sure if this counts, but I'm working on an anthology about a group of angels in my Eldritch story (the first having made its appearance in the most recent chapter), each featuring an individual angel's origin. Those would be more short story-like.

Thanks. I'm thinking of writing more short stories as an anthology under that title, though I need to finish prior commitments so I can focus.

I think I've read your some of your stories. But my memory is failing me so I'll take this chance to reread Eldritch!

It really depends on the genre you most like. I have a whole treasure trove of short stories I've written over the past 20 years. *^^*

If you read it, just by the first page alone, you should know what you're getting into.
I wouldn't mind a comment or two, or a review, or hell, I'll take a medical diagnosis for what you think is wrong with me lol. I know there's probably a grammar mistake in there or two, but I'm sure it'll keep you reading... I think.
just you know, don't sit on it if it make you feel any which way. first page is for a reason. especially the deeper you read. lol  and that goes out to anyone who clicks the link to it.

What counts as a short story? Can I have a word count?

That reminds me. I've searched this author when you recommended them in a thread one (or two?) year ago. I hope I won't forget to check their novels again. Also, just finished reading the short story. Unfortunately, it's one of those days where I can't articulate my feeling clearly, so I just want to say that I enjoy reading it!

Really anything! Serious, crack fics, fanfics, fantasy, psychological, comedy... As for what I like the most, probably literary?

<=19.999 words. I won't mind if anyone recommends me a novella, but not looking for a longer read rn.

Hey,

If you want a short story, I am currently writing one.

Love to hear your thoughts. Its fantasy mostly.

Kind regards,

I will put it in my Plan to Read list. I usually read short stories in one sitting which means it has to be finished first. Thank you for recommending your work!

Yes, please. Waiting for your PM :blob_hide:

Well, if you're not adverse to erotica, I tell quite a wealth of good stories. *^^*

Body-Snatcher was absolutely cool! I really like it. The characters are just so there, and the atmosphere is beautiful. I just want to say, my favorite part is these paragraphs:

Now it flickered right: yes.

Everyone else, along with Otis, looked towards the gloom of the wooded scene: just beyond the lancet windows were overgrown shrubs and a dilapidated lawn; past those was a screen of trees looming there in quietude; past that were the twinkling of stars behind and a large full moon emerging from the horizon; and on everyone’s skin arose a chill of something creeping there in the woods tonight.

There wasn’t anything Otis could say to reverse the situation in the light of the only candle in the room keeping the darkness outside from entering. It was like a beacon attracting whatever lurked out there to their presence here inside these very premises. Then Otis noticed the sudden quietude of the night, a night without the chirp of crickets or the call of loons, as if the outside world had gone silent at something in their midst in those woods.
