What are some fashion items you wish would make a comeback. Not the obvious armors, and no inappropriate or swimwear. Just your everyday clothes you wish came back. Like

half cloaks.

Sleeved cloaks, Chiton's, short and medium capes, ponchos, breeches, loose fitted robes(like in martial arts), and loose fitted robes(like wizards). I guess what I want is to be able to wear a blanket/outerwear in public without being judged.

Rapier, shorts words, and hand axes as well. Because they pair well with them.

Hell, ANY watch would be nice to have again. I'm sick of looking at my phone for the time.
Hear me out, we convince the collective group of this generation to get rid of our cell phones as a form of protest. Keep stationary computers and customizable laptops but just protest cell phones by unanimously stripping them for metals to sell. Our mental health could use it. Make landlines, payphones, and pagers a thing again, or limit cell phones in the future to being just phones with a few minor tools.

Bring back my COVID wardrobe...going out in public in pj's, bathrobe, and fuzzy slippers.

On the same note, people dressing well when they went out in public, not in whatever ratty shit they had on...suits and dresses...(as I just came back from town wearing my ratty painting clothes)

I'm for that. While we're at it, get rid of Wi-Fi...I mean ALL of it. Let's go back to having modems that dialed up and data that came in a bit slower. There is no reason I can think of for us to have internet 24/7. =( I have lived long enough to prove that we don't. *^^*

God, I dont want to hear my 486 DX2 with its 14.4k baud modem trying to dial into a BBS again...though I do miss the games that were on them.

Bell bottom jeans - the trademark of the 60s and 70s.
Clearly, I wasn't alive then, but I don't understand why they left. Although, maybe it's a local thing, but where I live, I'm seeing people wear jeans like this. Younger people, like late-teens and on up to late-20s. Not sure where they are getting them from though. They are always young though. I've even dated a girl who was 20. a few years back who had two pairs of them though she only seemed to wear them for what she considered special occasions.

As for my own answer, I wish long flowing capes and cloaks were a thing and not just during role-playing conventions and the like. I could see myself wearing this all fall and winter, and then have a lighter and hoodless one for the warmer months.
