Just wondering... how many crossposting do you do (as in how many websites?)

I recently got curious of how many comments do other people do on the main website, until I found one guy who got TWELVE THOUSAND how do you even comment that much what??? So I checked the dude's website and I find that he/she posts on 7 (8 if you count kindle). Sooo how many websites do you guys post to?

Let's count... SH, RR, Honeyfeed, Purrfiction, Inkitt, Web Novel, AO3, and a local site. That's eight websites. But SH is the one I update the most regularly.

I post on two sites. I started on Royal Road and now am posting here. On Royal Road, I'm able to see when a guest is viewing a page I happen to be on. I know that most of my readers are guests who are unable to leave comments. The members who comment are usually just thanking me for the post or catching some errors. But I have gotten PM's with comments, and one reader who currently posts daily with some great comments. For a new writer like me, just knowing people are logging in daily to read a chapter I just posted is a great motivator. Comments are fun and insightful, but seeing views appear the same day I post a chapter is the real reward!

December 7th, 2022 -> October, 16th 2025 = roughly 3*365 - 30 - 30 + 9 = 1044
That means you got 11,7 per day, that's dedication right there

I started on chyoa, it was working well. My story was big for the monster girl genre, until it wasn't. I wanted a story with smut, but what really sells is smuts with story sprinkled in. My work got overshadowed real quick on that genre soon, so now I'm here.

That means you got 11,7 per day, that's dedication right there

Engagement is good for my books plus it motivates readers to comment, seeing I answer them.

That's true. I've read some stories with hundreds of chapters but the author rarely replies anything, even when the comments are like really long
